To make a long story short. these ppl are crooks. I purchased a car from them that they rigged up. i took the car to a mechanic to do a basic inspection and the car appeared to be fine. the car is a 2003 Honda Accord. it had 136,000 mi on the day of purchase. usually for a honda you would think that is fine and the car should run pretty good. the same day i signed the paper work an headed home, the engine light popped on, the oil light began blinking and the car started sputtering. I called Wendell auto to informed them of this problem and they told me they couldn't look at it because the engine light was on. after having someone look at the car it didn't have a drop of oil in it and there was a sticker in the car stating that the next oil change was at 139,000. I went on and had the oil changed anyway thinking that would solve the problem.i began checking the oil regularly and ended up putting a qt of oil in that car every other day. after 2 weeks of driving the car, it began doing the same thing. i checked the oil on the car and it was very low and burned black. i contacted wendell auto a second time and they stated they couldn't get the car looked at until another 2 weeks. i took it to them anyway that next day and they told me if anyting was wrong with it i would have to pay for it. Here it is week 5 of having this car. the engine is gone in the car, and they aren't willing to work with me in any shape or form. I don't think its fair that they can take your hard earned money as a down payment and not help you get into another or or even offer to fix it free of charge knowing i havent had the car long at all. i would never tell anyone to get a car from these ppl. for one, their prices are extremely too high, and so are the mi on them. i know sometimes you have no choice except to go to a buy here pay here. but please don't go to these ppl. there are good buy here pay here dealers out there, but wendell auto brokers is not one. take my advice and go the other way!!! |
