Wellness Latin America - Emilio Villiers Looking for a vacation in hell??? The worst 2 weeks of our life San Jose, Nationwide |
26th of Mar, 2011 by User436032 |
Be aware about this company, you will loose more then just your money... We found their site at the net and everything was looking so nice, well you know what they say about "...to good to be true", but sometimes you have to learn it the hard way. We arrived at San Jose Airport begin March 2011, to our deepest disappointment nobody picked us up (against all promises of Emilio Villiers) So we had to take a cab to our hotel, which has cost us $65 - later we got aware that it wold had cost normally $25 Arriving at the Hotel we got confronted with a very hostile clerk, telling us that the rates are $190/night and not $120 as this Emilio Villiers from wellnesslatinamerica.com told us After we showed the clerk the confirmation, he told us that this was an old deal and we are now in high season!!!!!!!!!!!!! We tried calling this Emilio guy, but go only his VM So, we ended up getting in a cab, paying another $45 and ended up in a middle class hotel for 2 weeks terror in San Jose Downtown This company is out of hell. The worst vacation we ever had.... and surely nothing about wellness... We already filed a report with our bank to get the payments back. Emilio never returned our calls, nor our emails. Filing a lawsuit, well we are just happy to return to southbeach.. |

Dear Readers,
As a responsible and reputable company in good standing and working under the supervision and recognition of the Costa Rica Tourist Board (Lic. ICT G-399-2010) we by this mean inform you that report filed by "CR Tourist" is a HOAX as this person have never travelled through our company as he claims.
In order to set the record straight, please refer to our Terms and Conditions available at http://www.wellnesslatinamerica.com/terms-and-conditions in which as a standard company policy and procedure, we do not refer customers to pay directly at any of the hotels we promote. All payment for services is required to be done prior to arrival in Costa Rica.
As you may notice "CR Tourist" claims and implies that he was referred to a hotel in Costa Rica recommended by our company and at check in time he was advised that the price was higher than the one allegedly advised by us. This would have been impossible to happen based on the way Wellness Latin America operates, due to the fact that our company only sells packaged programs with an advanced payment policy as mentioned before and clearly stated in our company policy.
An advice for travelers to Costa Rica: when you get to the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica there is no way you can ever get ripped off when taking a cab as this person claims. The airport administration only allows one specific cab company to operate from the airport with fixed rates to all destinations. Also, payment of cab services is done in advance at the administration booth at the airport entrance according to where the customer is going and thus preventing at any rate a situation as "CR Tourist" claims that he was charged for $65 instead of a normal cost of $25.
We are happy that this "CR Tourist" could not even come up with a false report at least with some proximity to a reality of situations you may encounter when traveling to Costa Rica.
Never the less we encourage him (CR Tourist) to provide a reliable proof that this events really happened in case he wish to continue with his false claims and hoax.
As usual with all our customers please feel free to contact us for any additional information and references from the many happy customers and associated travel companies within the United States which have used our services and really traveled through our company. |
