First off, I love the weight watchers program, can't say much about the new one yet but it looks promising as well. The thing that has got me all upset about is the fact that a multi-million dollar company rips off the little guy and can get away with it. I've been going to my WW meetings since March and I am doing alright with the program. We had the opportunity to buy the monthly pass in July, so i did, mostly because I knew that I would be in this program for a long time (a year maybe two) and its the cheapest way to go. so every month (twice for the first month) I am billed about $58.00. The thing is, in Nov the building that we had our meetings in, couldn't or wouldn't let us have space for our meetings. This happened twice in Nov. Our Leader (who is fantastic) took everyone's name down that had a monthly pass and was going to talk to someone. She actually took our names down twice but nothing has come of that as of yet So I called WW and the lady there told me that they would just add two more weeks onto my monthly pass so now instead of my pass ending on the 11th, my new pass will have the 28th on it instead. But the next day I received an email from an Angela, a customer service associate from WW informing me that " due to the nature of this program and the savings your are receiving, we are unable to allow for compensation when your regular meeting is closed temporarily for holidays or inclement weather." So who was right? the lady on the phone from WW saying that they just add two more weeks onto the monthly pass, or Angela basically saying, "screw you, you are not getting a damn thing out of us" My WW meeting wasn't canceled due to weather or a holiday, I had No control about this what so ever. Anyone got any ideas as to what I did wrong or how to go about to get my money/or two additional weeks added?????? I'm up for ideas..
