Walmart Old Bridge Walmart Store #2825 Their TLE department lost my car keys and put me through hell trying to get back what is rightfully mine Old Br

I’m going to tell you my full Walmart story from the beginning. Unfortunately, it is quite long at no fault of my own. I really wish it was nice and short, but it’s not, so please bear with me. One Sunday in September I came to Old Bridge Walmart Store #2825 located at 1126 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857 to fix a flat tire. I was greeted by Ross - their Tire & Lube Express representative at the front desk - who got all my info and car keys and told me to come back in a couple of hours. When I came back in a few hours later, all my problems started. The flat tire was fixed, but my car keys were nowhere to be found. Ross was gone for the day. Michael, who fixed my tire, said that he gave my keys back to Mohammad, but Mohammad was gone too. After standing there by the counter for almost an hour and watching TLE workers running around turning every possible box and drawer upside down, paging people, cursing out loud I was advised that my best bet would be to go home a get my spare keys. Nobody offered me a ride home or a cab. I had to arrange my own transportation to get home and back to Walmart which took me another hour. After that I was able to pick up my car and I was assured by TLE that they will be in touch with me first thing Monday morning when everybody involved would be back at work and if they won't be able to locate the keys I would certainly get reimbursed for the keys they lost. I waited until next morning to hear from Walmart, but nobody was going to call me about the missing keys. I called the store's main line five times that Monday morning until after numerous putting on holds, transfers and hang ups on me I got to speak to a gentlemen named Ian at TLE. He wasn't even aware of the problem, and of cause nobody even bothered to look for the keys. After I spend quite awhile on hold again, Ian confirmed that they couldn't locate my car keys and I could go ahead ordering new set of keys from Honda for which Walmart will reimburse me. I made an appointment with Honda's service department to get the key and remote replaced a couple of days later. I had to take time off work, drive to Honda dealership, wait till they finish their work and pay for the service out of my own pocket. Let me remind you that all time and gas spent on driving back and forth between Walmart, home, Honda and my office, phone calls, key replacement was at my own expense, though it was totally Walmart's fault. My only fault was
that I came that Sunday to Walmart to fix my flat tire which I'll make certain nobody in my family does ever again. The following morning I came back to Walmart to bring them my receipts and had a pleasure meeting Ian, who I spoke on the phone a few days earlier, face to face. He met me with no apologies, which I kind of got used to by then, and angry face which had stop bothering me written all over it. Looked at my receipts and said "This is not a receipt this is an estimate" and that Walmart isn't going to reimburse me for this estimate. Honda's receipt didn't have word receipt written on it. It said invoice instead and had my credit card receipt attached to it. By the way, Walmart's receipt doesn't have word receipt on it either. It says Service Order. Different dictionaries provide slightly different definitions of word invoice, but they all agree it's a list of services provided or goods sold. Ian's dictionary seems to have a different definition – invoice means an estimate in his vocabulary. If Mr. Ian has problems with English language maybe he should go back to school instead of working at Walmart and insulting their loyal customers. Ian told me that he doesn't care about my credit card receipt and he needs a document from Honda with word receipt on it. I went back to Honda and they gave me another invoice with PAID stamp on it. I faxed this invoice back to Ian and called him back. He told me that I didn't actually get new keys from Honda, he accused me of forging the PAID stamp, he said that I'm a liar and he doesn't want to talk to me anymore. On my request to talk to one of his superiors I was told that he doesn't have any, he pretty much is running this shop himself and hanged up on me. I was talking to Ian from my office, and when I saw the way this conversation is going I turned the speaker on, so I got witnesses who heard all this verbal assault. and Walmart got some free advertisement of their customer service in my office. When I came back to Walmart later that day and saw Walmart Tire & Lube Express – Your Satisfaction Is Our #1 Priority sign hanging on the department's wall with manager's name blank I decided that Ian probably was the boss. If someone told me this nightmare could be happening at the largest US retail chain, I'd never believe it. I had to pinch myself quite a few times to make sure this isn't a bad dream but a very sad reality. This's insane, it's just beyond insane. This was first time I was so humiliated in my life and I have no intention to be quite about this. Even if this wasn't a receipt, though it was, he had no right to talk and humiliate me like that. I brought him an official document from Honda service department stating how much my Honda keys which Walmart lost costed me to replace. The store manager Michael Baimba was on vacation that hapless week and none of his assistants could straiten this matter out. I waited till Mr. Baimba returned and tried contacting him quite a few times, but he never returned my calls. I faxed Mr. Baimba a letter with all the details of this incident, but no one from the store ever called me back to apologize and reimburse me for all the troubles and sufferings I had to go through.
