After initiating purchase of a 2010 Volkswagen Routan on January 4th, 2011, the car was literally a lemon. I brought it in 4 times for repair on the same issues, after shady business practices from the dealership Desert VW in Las Vegas, NV and false promises, I decided to return this vehicle VOLUNTARILY. After doing a credit pull I noticed that VW Credit put that I owe $15,000 from the auction where they sold the car, and placed a voluntary repossession on my credit file. In accordance with my rights under the FCRA and FTC I filed suit against VW Credit/Volkswagen corporate to pursue proof of debt owed. After long delay, and computer generated response they finally sent a "copy" of the signed contract. As I look closer at this "signed" contract it was back dated to 12/31/2010 so the dealership could qualify for a $10,000 rebate, which I was not paid for. To make things worse, VW Credit was aware of this since the finance manager signed the contract "1/4/2010" which would have been a year before I supposedly purchased the car. It turns out the contract which was finalized and financed was forged, it is not my signature AND it is back dated. What kind of fraud is VW committing against you?
