when is 600 minutes of inclusive calls not 600 minutes of inclusive calls

Be aware when comparing price plans that Vodafone are one of the only providers who have a 1 minute minimum call charge DURING your inclusive minutes so if you make lots of very short calls (ie hang up if you hit voicemail/engaged) you might only get 600 lots of 2 or 3 seconds instead of 600 full minutes. Choose another provider. T-mobile and o2 (I have both monthly contracts in the household and as Dad, pay the bills) bill by the second whilst within your monthly allowance and a 1 minute minimum call charge oonly comes into force when you have used up your minutes.

My vodafone 600 minute deal at £20.50 a month looked good value (to replace the 500 minutes a month being made to mobiles from the home phone) until it came in at £68 for the first month representing a higher bill than I had previously paid BT on the landline.
