ViP Relocation is a Rogue Moving Company. Simply, that means
they give you an estimate over the phone which is WAY TOO LOW and then charge
you thousands of dollars upon delivery at your location or you can't claim your
furniture. On the day before my move from Los Angeles to Florida they
switched the day of my move, they promised me one truck (exclusive use) and then made me switch twice to two trucks,
they did not offer me moving insurance, broke furniture, refused to place my
furniture where it belongs, they illegally charged me on Visa 3% to move, and
the 2nd mover sat in my townhouse ate my cookies and said he was not going to
do anything because his supervisor walked off the job. Basically they broke all the rules of moving and did not
follow their own contract. Dean Yuba is the
Salesman that first lied to me. They never offered to come out for an in-home
estimate and then they charged me an extra $832 dollars because their quote was
not a 'binding quote'. Basically everything you can do wrong in the moving
business, they did. I was told my move
would absolutely arrive on February 18 in Florida so I took the day off
from work and they did not show up until days later which is when they
left my boxes and furniture in a pile. The head mover refused to put my lamps
together or move any of my furniture into place. He walked off the job just
like THAT! I got in trouble with
my new building because VIP Relocation left moving carpets, boxes and rubbish
in the hallways and did not clean up their mess. Finally the Supervisor of my
building told them they must move at least my bed into the bedroom. That is the
only piece of furniture they moved in the correct spot. They broke most of my
custom made furniture which I can never replace. I immediately called Jessica
at VIP and she insulted me by offering me $100 for the janitor in my building
to try and fix the entire move! I was unable to inventory the contents of my
boxes because the movers left and therefore I still have missing boxes and lost
some of my things!! Almost 2 years later I am still fighting with my credit card
company with VIP Relocation over the move.
I want them to settle with Visa whom they have been fighting about my
dispute since February of 2010. I wrote to VIP Relocation and my Visa company a
detailed 56 page report with photos detailing how the moving man dropped my furniture broken and would not move it into my townhouse. Vip's bank issued me a credit and then
took it back. They are not only bad business people but they lied to both me
and my Visa Card Company Date Problem Started: 2/5/2010

Amount in Dispute: $3000.00 Product or Service: Moving company that should be prosecuted
for bad actions & laws broken. Don't
even call them I PROMISE YOU WILL LOSE YOUR BELONGINGS, YOUR MONEY AND YOUR
MIND!! THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY BUSINESS CAREER. WHEN I HIRED THEM THEIR RATING ON THE BBB WAS A D- THEY MUST
HAVE PAID SOMEONE OFF TO RAISE IT..THEY ARE A SCAM 100%
