| I can attest to the previous complaint regarding unethical business practices by Verizon. I was stalked and harassed for over 11 yrs. and did not realize until the past 2 months that Verizon was a party to this and willingly assisted, or perhaps had hired my stalker, or the stalker had "recruited" a verizon employee to assist in her harassment and stalking of me. My phone conversations were monitored, recorded and then played back for friends (in other words - a friend got a phone call and when she answered the phone, she heard her own voice from a previous conversation with me. she was freaked out and called to tell me. Otehr conversations with my mother and otehr friends were also recorded and played for others via Verizon. When I called to report this I was told by their (so-called) "security dept" to send the complaint in writing...which I did. Shortly thereafter, I discovered someone in Verizon had (hacked) into my web-based G-Mail account. I sent proof of this to the again, So-Called "Security dept". After this when I called to discontinue my service (Wouldn't You?) I was told my Account number "did not exist", therefore they were unable to discuss my acct.! Yet they sent me a Bill in the mail. They e-mailed me at my yahoo e-mail which I had never given them! They were demanding outstanding payment! I told them they could bill who-ever "shared" my land-line phone and my I-net acct. becasue I had not signed up for a "party -line". I feel they owe me back 11 years of what I paid them as I had NO privacy during these 11 years. Everything I sai dwas being listened to, recorded and saved to play back to whoever they wanted. And they expect me to pay them? I finally have peace and quiet now for the first time in almost 12 years. All I had to do was GET RID of Verizon. Verizon is obviously a Thug Run Mafia Type Corporation. I wish I had gotten rid of them 12 years ago. I now have a cable I-net service and NO land-line phone. If you have a land-line phone with Verizon I strongly suggest you not have any conversatons you would not want anyone else to know about - because in my experience - They are always "Listening In". I finally called the FBI and my Stalker disappered about 4 days later and i have got no more bills from Verizon. But I want all of thier shit off of my house...their boxes, wiring, etc. I want all of their equipment off my property,but I wanta policeman on hand while they remove it, as I don't this vicious corporation. All I can say is if you value your privacy then you Do NOT want Verizon as your Internet or Phone company! |
