We are a small online retail company in Los Angeles. On October 13, 2010 Valerie Hoffman of Winter Harbor Maine, placed what for us is a substantial order which we shipped and which we confirmed ship received. Today, December 10, 2010, we received a notice of charge back from the credit card company for the full amount of Valeries "purchase", along with a statement from a party in Florida who complained that they're card had been used fraudulently. When I Googled her name, Valerie Hoffman of the same Winter Harbor address seems to figure prominently in a number of scams that involve defrauding small businesses. Great. Business is tough out there and this kind of crap hurts. I'd be happy to hear she was behind bars.

| Absolute baloney-I have known this girl all my life and the ONLY person who ever wrote anything bad about her was her ex boyfriend who is still in love with her and a guy she sued because he sold her product with BUGS in it so he is fuming and decided to defame her as he is jealous of her success since she has been on the Today Show, Martha Stewart Living, ABC, HSN etc and he has never been seen anywhere except in court for like 4 lawsuits including one by his employees who said he abused them and the US Labor Board who sued him and WON. She lives in Florida dumb ass- obviously that is her credit card ( has HER name on it! ) and when I spoke to her she explained that your company used her card illegally actually and shipped over $500 of crap she never ordered! Get a life pal-defamation is serious and you are about to be sued too I just read. |

PS-her ex actually got sued big time for writing this -he is still so in love with her its pathetic...stolen card yeh ok, the girl has been successful her entire life, she hardly would need to steal!?

| Val Hoffman has just filed suit against this creepy man for these lies he told -GOOD FOR YOU VAL! We are so glad the loser who wrote these stupid tales about you is going to pay! If you look HIM up the company in San Fran he has over 180 complaints against HIM and defamed another woman like this too -Val never ordered these goods and refused them because of that but he tried to force her to do business with him is the TRUTH so I am proud of her for not accepting this stuff this guy illegally sent her and for not allowing this disgusting defamation.
