On June 02,2010 vacuvent worker dropped large piece of equipment on my kitchen counter gashing it in front. I talked with Bill Shine,Jackie, Dan McKaska to no avail. Promised 4-5 times the check would be in the mail for the repairs. I faxed three estimates and faxed them a $340. bill for a temp. repair, which even that they did not honor. The estimates were then good for 90 days and have gone up several times since my last talk. It is now up to $2,800 to have the countertop replaced. They are not insured, but do have a licensing number for both of their companies. They have been reported, but do not seem to care that they are not insured. These two companies are licensing under the same man, James T. Clark, CAC#1815655. The owner has never called me and their Field Mgr. Dan McKaska has just given me empty promises of checks in the mail.
They need to pay for the cost of replacement and hopefully get themselves insured so no one else has to go through the incredible disappointment, worry, time and hours spent on the phone & computer, trying to get fair justice and reimbursement. I have a patch right now but that won't last forever, just till the holidays.
I also in good faith paid them $250. to have my vents cleaned with the hopes that they in turn would honor their word to sent me the full amount to cover my damaged countertop, that definitely will need replaced soon.
Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. |

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. It took them a week to install my AC last summer. And then they didn't do it right or haul away the old one. I put a stop payment on the final check and then they came running to fix it. Now the AC isn't working right and I have called since last Friday to get it fixed and they give me a run around. It's been 5 work days already. Since they're 150 miles away they figure I'll just go away. Don't ever deal with these bastards. |
