Just wanted to add to the complaints about USPassPortnow.com website. Basically the site offers "expedited" passport service where you pay a fee and they help hurry the passport process along. Site advertises $130 for process, but after you've paid the $130, they tell you you must pay an additional $170. Also, it's not easy. It's very complicated, you have to have a printer (I do, but I rarely use it so I had to go to the library to print the documents). Then you have to jump through a whole bunch of more hoops. Finally I got fed up and was going to just do the process in person at my local post office, but found out that they won't refund my $130 (because I didn't request 24 hrs later to refund) - anyways, it's just a flatout ripoff and there's no reasonable explanation why they couldn't refund my money. It's an online service so I'm sure the overhead is next to nothing. Also, they don't have an address on the site. I wanted to throw some small claims court paperwork at them to scare them into giving me a refund but since there's no address I can't. Anyways, $130 is too much money to just throw in the dumpster without at least lodging a complaint. Once again, do NOT use this website, try a different one, or do it in person.
