Briefly. I order used work clothes for my husband on Jan 19 2011. I received a receipt for the merchandise via email. Feb 1st, I did not receive the pants I ordered or an email as to whether there was a delay. I contacted them by phone. Without giving the employee my name or any other information he told me that 'we got it goin', we'll get 'em sent out'. That's it. He hung up. I tried to call several more times, but he does not answer the phone again.... at least for my phone number. Nothing came about, so I contacted the BBB. The case has been closed and listed as 'unresolved'. The owner claimed once to me in an email and to the BBB that he would contact me. It never happened. This I expected after researching the company (yes, afterwards ugh :( ) and found that there were similar complaints. The catch is, he tells the BBB he will contact the customer. The customer responds to BBB that he/she accepts the refund. Case closed. Merchandise nor money every came. This is not their first time. Feb 3rd UsedWorkClothes sent an email telling me my check was in the mail. never came. Feb 7th contacted BBS and filed report. Feb 21st I contacted UsedWorkClothes.com via email and related that I had contacted the BBB and that I had every intention of putting this information out there for other customers to see. No response. Mar 15 received email from BBB that the company had not responded and BBB would be sending another letter. April 4th, UsedWorkClothes.com responded to the BBB saying he would issue me a check. I responded to the BBB that I had researched this company and found that a similar situation was reported. When a woman accepted the deal with UsedWorkClothes.com BBB closed the case. She never got the check. I said I would not accept his false proposal as he had made it to me before via email. Stop before you pruchase and research this company before you do anything. It was $34 for used work pants so my husband could look for a job. We didn't have it to spend. This company opted to rip us off! I will never do business with these people again and I will ensure everyone knows about their practices.
