I contracted this company to deliver my vehicle in November of 2011. The vehicle was to be delivered from NJ to California. The company repeatedly delayed transport of my vehicle and with each postponement neglected to provide me with a concrete pickup and delivery date for my vehicle. The contract stipulates that the car must be picked up within 14 days of the on or about originally scheduled date. In my case, they exceeded this timeframe. During one of my calls, the USAA said that if I paid an extra $100 beyond what was contractually agreed to, I might be able to expedite my delivery. This was offered to me as a ‘helpful tip’, nevertheless it caused me some concern as it was different than what was agreed to and so I called another vendor to find out if this was commonplace. During this call I found out that this was
not commonplace, in fact this other vendor had never heard such a thing. I also found out that USAA Logistics had approximately 22 complaints filed against them in the past month and further I found that USAA Logistics had posted my request on the transport pickup board and according their notes indicated I was to pay the driver $1,000 upon delivery, not the $575 agreed to in the contract. Basically what this meant is I would be held hostage by the driver of my car when it arrived in California and would have been forced to pay the driver the $1,000 if I wanted my car. I called USAA Logistics and confronted them with this and the customer service agent proceeded to berate me, calling me a baby, swearing at me, and then eventually hanging up the phone on me like the coward he is. When I called back, he insisted that I had cancelled the terms of the contract, which I had not done (and further which is actually required to be done in writing as per their own contract). So, in fact my contract is still in place though the company will no doubt fail to honor the terms of it as they are gutless and corrupt. Needless to say, the absolutely atrocious level of customer service coupled with its complete inability or desire to live up to its own commitments makes this company the vilest, lowest, most floundering, despicable company I have ever had the misfortune to work with. I read that the company has been in business for ‘years; but I simply cannot believe a company that operates in this fashion is legitimate. Please avoid it at all costs. The only justice that can be done is to see this company closed down and the owner imprisoned for fraud. |

These people are thieves running a fraud ring. This "company" is actually not a company at all. My lawyer found out they had their license revoked long ago and are not even legally allowed to move anyone's car. It appears they are actually a fraudulent operation that cons people to send them money, then keeps them waiting for something they will never deliver. When it becomes evident that they are not following through on the service, they make up stories to keep the consumer believing they will eventually get what they paid for, but it won't happen.
I hired them to transport my car. I signed a contract and according to the contract, if I cancelled the move of my car, then I would be refunded all of my money less a $250 cancellation fee. I ended up cancelling before my scheduled time and they said they would send me the refund, but never did. Many months past, and many phone calls. They offered me explanations about why they weren't sending me the refund. They told me their bank accounts had been cleared out by fraud, and that it was taking time to order all new checks, etc. Many times they told me that the bookkeeper would be "sending a check this week" but no bookkeeper ever sent anything.
Eventually, I just got a lawyer and he is handling it for me. They even told him they would send the check to him! They gave my lawyer tracking numbers so he could track the check that was headed to him. No check ever came. He found out that this company is nothing more than a fraud ring. They do this sort of thing to everyone. They are not licensed to move cars. They have many, many complaints against them at the Better Business Bureau. They have many lawyers after them. I suspect they will eventually end up in jail.
It seems they just keep telling customers whatever they can to keep biding time. They know they won't do the service or give the money back, but they just keep the customers trailing along. What a way to live... so dishonest and ugly. I am sorry that's their lot. It's really warped... Anyway, we have a slew of charges against them and things are bound to turn very ugly for this operation. In the meantime, no one "hire" them fore ANYTHING. They are not a business. They are solely thieves. I asked my lawyer how they get away with this and he said that many people will not put the effort into getting the money back. Many people will not chase these guys down with a lawyer and everything. People give up and let the cons keep the money. That's not true in the case. |

| OMG! I got the exact same problem! What can I say, I am still waiting for my car. If a lawyer cannot do the job, then I am not sure what to do. Please do not use this "company" at all! |
