BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!! USA All Points Moving and Storage quoted me $70/hour for 3 men (one of whom was caught sleeping in the truck most of the day) for a one bedroom house local move with furniture only. They over-wrapped EVERYTHING, and wrapped items I specifically told them not to wrap. They got to my house at 8am and did not start loading the truck until 3PM. I paid a deposit of $100 and half-way through the move they charged me $700, which I thought was for the remainder of the charges, but when we got to the destination they tried to charge me another $2700! They held my stuff hostage and I called the police. The police talked to them and said that they would release my possessions if I paid $1500 PLUS another $414 (not sure what those two charges were for). I argued with the owner on the phone for at least an hour (2 hours total went by with no action). He was a rude, angry man who was very disrespectful to me, yelling at me and hanging up the phone on me several times. He admitted that he charged my debit card the $1500 WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. I had no choice but to sign the charge slips under duress. The driver asked me to sign a form to confirm the end time of the move, but since we were at a stalemate for 2 hours of that time, I marked out the hour of 9PM and wrote in 7PM and initialed that time. After reluctantly paying them the money, the movers refused to unload the truck, so my boyfriend, family and friends all UNLOADED THE TRUCK OURSELVES (I have pictures to prove this). They were supposed to unload and reassemble everything & remove the trash and they didnt do any of that as contracted. They also left a big mess of packing materials &trash at the old house. The only unwrapping they did was to get the blankets off the furniture so that they could recover them, which was done inside the truck. Additionally, the driver entered the charges onto the form that I signed after I signed it and without me initialing it. He wrote that the est. cost would be $700-1500, but then tried to charge me a total of $3500. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND NEED TO BE EXPOSED FOR WHAT THEY ARE!!! BEWARE!!!
