US Circulation Corp Marquis Fullfillment Agency Magazine subscription Scam Buford, Georgia |
15th of Mar, 2011 by User748322 |
On 12/8/10 one of their sales reps knocked on my door offering to sell me magazine subscriptions in order to help her win a scholarship and a trip. The girl had legitimate looking paperwork and documentation, which led me to beleive that they were a legititmate company. I went ahead and agreed to purchase a year magazine subscription for $51. The girl, Brittney Midgette, asked that she would prefer cash because she would get her points quicker. I went ahead and decided to help her out and paid her $51 cash. She gave me a receipt for the transaction and was on her way. It has been over three months and I have not received my magazine in the mail. I have called the customer service # 770.831.7722 that they provide and it always goes to voicemail and most of the time it is full. I have sent numerous emails to them and I have yet to receive a response. I found a phone number for recruiting and called several times until finally Keith answered, which is apparently a manager. I told him about my problem and he said that he would have someone call me back. It has been several days since then and I have not heard from anyone. |

The same thing happened to me. In my quest to help some poor young man win points for his college fund, I was suckered into purchasing a magazine for $63. The guarantee states that the magazine will be delivered in 120 days. It has been 5 1/2 months and still no magazine. I have tried to reach their "customer service" number about 20 times at different times of the day and there is never an answer. I have also sent an email to which I have never received a response. My guess is that my check for $63 has gone bye bye along with members of this unscrupulous scam organization. Buyer beware, This is not a legitimate company and you are sure to be ripped off as I was. |
