UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX
University of Phoenix University of Phoenix Loan Disbursement Fraud Troy, Michigan
8th of Mar, 2011 by User278373
I recently have been receiving numerous automated calls a day from Sallie Mae. When I finally got a person I found out that a loan disbursement had been made to University of Phoenix in my name but I had never actually used this money. I dropped out of school and paid the balance owed for the time I did attend. I have since spoken with Sallie Mae as well as my other loan provider I am paying on and University of Phoenix is who hasn't answered my calls yet. I did some research and found I am not the first person to experience this. Be aware of University of Phoenix and get everything in writing if they have you pay them and tell you the loan balance is paid. I now have to fight to fix something I never knew was a problem until now. And my credit is what is getting ruined because of this.
