UNIVERSAL SERVICES
Universal Services 9 services, Telemarketing company from Oregon (supposedly) operating in Downtown Los Angeles, California
20th of Mar, 2011 by User656412
This company that is Presently going by Universal Services, posts ads on a great number of websites everyday, offering daily cash payments for setting appointments. We suspect that they have/are operating by several different names in various cities, including Vegas and Portland. Think about it, why would a company that is based out of Oregon, need to go setting up telemarketing desks out of everywhere But Oregon?? Things they don't tell you: Your appointments are contigent upon some type of verification system that you have no access to. This will result in a Very Low percentage of the deals you had, Not going through. The Cash you are supposed to Daily, does not happn, you constantly have to to ask, and pratically beg the manager for Your pay. They always want to put it on "the office in Oregon not posting the pay and so on. They may end up floating you $10 in the meantime, "If you really need for cash, or food or something" they'll say to you. You will end up wasting time, trying to figure, and get the money, you thought is owed to you. 2) They have such a high turnover ratio, that they dont' even bother with having you fill out anypaperwork! They have groups of folks coming in everyday to listen to their big pitch about all the offices they are getting ready to open in Riverside,CA and San Fernando Valley and how you can make SO much money as a salesperson, Once you work a week on the "floor". Truth be told: Theses guys are scammers, basically using people unknowingly to set appointments that they will never get paid on. They hope for people to come in, and "give them a week " knowing that most will figure out their scheme before the week is out, but hopefully they would have set some appointments for the company by then. If these scammers can get one sell out of the appointments, it basically pays for Their (management staff) salary.
