Contacted Jack Schladetsch and provided proof of payment Bank One check he deposited 03/25/04 funded 03/29/04. Attempted to refinance home purchase home 02/14/2005. I was notified by real estate agent of dispute on credit report. Contacted Jack Schladetsch of his discrepancy he stated no longer had the file and no record of payment now resides with collection agency Academy Collection Services. He also noted that I could not have talked to anyone else regarding this issue because he stated "he is a one man operation". Contacted Academy Collection Services on 02/14/05 faxed them proof of payment and follow up phone call to their location Las Vegas Nevada. They acknowledged payment was made, record removed from credit report. In 2007 the record showed up again under filed dispute with credit reporting agencies and record temporarily removed. Record showed up again Fidelity Information Corporation collection agency 2008 through 2010. On February 16 2010 filed a dispute regarding this issue. I was notified by Experian results "Will remain" on credit report and received mail dated Feb 2010 from Nationwide including historical documentation which included copy of Service Agreement with letter from Brett L. Swigert Attorney at Law. On 03/31/2010 contacted Jack Schladetsch regarding this issue and informed him of our past conversation regarding this matter. He stated again he has neither notes nor records on this. I informed him of interface between Academy Collection Agency and myself on 02/14/05. I told him that after 6 years of no closure I am now seeking legal actions at this point. He agreed to contact Academy Coll Agency. On 03/31/10 made a follow up phone to Jack Schladetsch at 8:57am Arizona time to hear his results. Mr. Jack Schladetsch of Nationwide Guarantee and Trust Corporation Sole Proprietor admitted he had made a mistake and confirmed with the Academy Collections Agency that a payment was in fact made PAID IN FULL on March 29, 2004. As a follow up contacted Experian Dispute department to request history of disputes and informed them of the 6 year history of disputes with Nationwide. They could not provide over phone but said they would provide as mailed copies. The Experian Disputes Supervisor Rachael then place a three-way phone call to Fidelity Information Corporation collections services. History of this case was discussed with the collections manager Rebecca regarding Nationwide. Said they would rectify this situation. I called the Academy Collections Services and spoke to a representative who forwarded me to manager Michael Bennett. Mr. Bennett confirmed that their records showed our correspondence March 29th 2004 no debt existed. Mr. Bennett said he did not understand why Mr. Schladetsch would forward this debt to Fidelity. Serious in this matter should be taken given that credit reports directly affect security clearances for job opportunities, loans, interest rates and much more, I have dedicated vast amount of time off work to deal with issue over the past 6 past years. The above statement shall serve as basis for legal records |
