My roommate and I use TXU. The rate we got seemed great. That is where the golden lining fell off. I have gone back and forth with them every single day for 2 months, except Sundays, about my bill, about the level of customer service, about my online account constanly being deactivated, them sending my paper bill to another address, the list goes on and on..So I got home from work last night and my electricity was off. Not only is it cold here, I have a special needs child so my electricity is NEVER to be turned off. I pay my bill on time every month and in December I had a dispute with the lady I was trying to give my payment information to. My roommate had added me to the account to have equal access and the woman was so freaking rude. So finally she said she added me and she took my credit card info and processed a payment for $280.59. That amount was drafted from my account. So again, came home last night electricity off and I called 7 times, was put on hold 3 times and mysteriously got disconnected...Twice I asked to speak to a supervisor and the 2nd one I talked to was so rude I just had to let her have it. My child is special needs and my anger was fueled by the fact that she didn't care about that. So she put me on hold and left me on hold for 27 minutes, picked back up, then transferred me back out into the call pool...
Called back and went through more b.s. with the crappy outsourced customer service and finally got someone to send a message to Oncor to turn my electricity back on within 2 hours. It never happened. Now when it's an emergency, power lines go down, street lights go out, Oncor is out there quick. To me that says, I don't care about your child, she can die, but it is not considered an emergency.
I spent $385 replacing the food in my refridgerator and $107 on a hotel and $765 on new medication that has to be kept cold. All because the ignorant dbags they hire didn't post the payment to my account. What apology did I get? NONE...I will be filing a claim against them for the medication for my daughter and gross neglience they showed. |
