Tressa Duniphan AKA Brittany Meyersberger AKA Tressa Scott is originally from Granite City, Illinois and uses the internet to victimize people. She usually cons men to falling in love with her and then she steals checks (from the middle of check books) and personal information belonging to the victim and uses the information to apply for credit and writes checks forging the victim's name in large amounts of money for various reasons (hotels, personal items, down payments to new vehicles, cash back purchases such as Wal-mart, etc.) Tressa is a pathological liar who believes everything she lies about. She carries ID cards with different identites and credit cards with different names. She also has in her possession (or had) a list of social security numbers (from victims she has been with) and more than one cell phone. She almost always deals personally with cash unless using a fradulent identity. I believe she has some kind of help (she was visited by three people that she claimed was her father, brother and his girlfriend). The brother and his girlfriend were deaf as well. When I was victimized by her in 2000 She had 2 or 3 year old son and an infant daughter by the name of Madison. I immediately filed an affidavit with my bank on discovery of her crimes. The bank then turned the information over to the authorities saying that it would become a federal matter since she crossed state lines to commit her crimes. She continued to stalk me on several occasions in which I contacted local authorites in which she evaded successfully. I saw her one last time at a Denny's location in Tulsa off of interstate 244 where she was staying in the hotel. She had claimed that she was pregnant with a child of mine and that I would never see her again. After that I never saw her again but internet reports from other people claimed she was on the road victimizing once again. This is the first I have heard about her in the last 11 years and I would like to know if anyone has any photographs of her or the children... The initial report indicates that she has 2 more children than she did when she victimized me back in 2000. I would like very much to get more information on the middle child which would be the third youngest of the four. Please help us find out more. Be aware, the individual is extremely dangerous and possibly bipolar. One incident occurred after my discovery of her criminal actions towards my finances, I told her I was leaving her and going back to my dorm at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Ok. She then responded by dragging her two children to the top of the hill and proceeded to cross into the middle of the ongoing traffic on the highway where she said that if I left, she was "going to kill the children" by pushing them in front of the traffic. Hello,
I "briefly" knew this family while they were living in Clinton, IL. I just noticed they had moved out in January 2012 and decided to find their whereabout, just out of curiosity, on the Internet by typing their last name... Good Lord! I actually befriended with their kids as they really enjoyed playing with my daughter.
We knew the four kids and more particularly their very cute daughters Gaby, the oldest daughter and her younger sister Kylie.
We were invited to their son Jonah's birthday and could meet the "other relatives": Tressa's mom and sister, Dylan "the cousin" who was living with his grandmother as well as her brother-in-law who is supposedly a pastor of a local Pentecostal church.
They were always very charming and kind with us and I am finally grateful for not being one of their victims .
Forgive my cynism if I use terms such like supposedly or put words between quotes but now, I am wondering whether I had to deal with a real organized criminal family... Or her relatives have strictly nothing to do with them. However as a Christian, how can you tolerate to let your relatives keep on stealing and scamming? Are not they as guilty as the perps themselves?
This is very sad for these lovely kids. How can you expect them to become emotionally and mentally balanced when you move at least five times a year with cons as parents? |

Look for them at local festivals and fairs with a booth for "Deaf Ministry." They will be posing as a ministry to the Deaf collecting money for the "ministry" and probably pocketing it. They ordered a banner from me for display at a festival in Clinton, IL last year. I mistakenly sent it before getting the money from them and will never see the money. The convinced me they would represent a respectable deaf ministry that I am a leader in which is a legitament organization. I can see their plan now, working under that banner name of National Deaf Evangelism Fellowship and pocketing the money for themselves.

Hi My name is Debra from Illinois. I met Kevin and Tressa Scott last March.. I believed so. And, they had 5 kids .. One was boy around 15 yrs old who lives with his grandmother, Clinton IL ... 2 daughters, both who are deaf and 2 sons. So it means that they have 5 kids and 1 loss by stillborn.. They mentioned that they are suing OB/GY Doctor by lose their child. Her mother was planning to set up a craft shop at Wapella, Il next to Post Office. I guess they did rented it out from April 2012 till they left the town. I heard that the landlord closed the rent because they didn't pay the rent - I believe so but I'm not sure. Tressa kept telling me to make crafts and wants me to put a consignment for their shop and I wasn't sure about that... even wants me to make lots of crafts and "maybe" her mother would pay all of my crafts. While they were cleaning the craft shop, they asked me if I want to sell my crafts ( I'm a crafter and quilter ) I went ahead to let them to take my quilt and 6 items to their shop so they can sell it for me. Few weeks later, they took my quilt ( full/queen size ) to their house and put it up on the wall, Tressa fell in love. Kevin called me and said that his wife wanted to buy... and said that he would pay me on May 3rd 2012. I trusted them because of their religious...Days went by... Weeks went by... and I emailed to them to see what's going on. Kevin called me and said that his wife went to Ponatic, IL hospital because she had a fibroyambia.. ( sp ). I find it very strange that there are good hospital near Clinton/Bloomington, IL. Why at Ponatic, IL ? He was upset that I kept bugging him ... Well, it's my items and they never pay me... Explained that his wife was sick and will keep touch with me.. Ohhhh okkkayyy... Time went by ... Again, I emailed them and heard nothing.. ( I remembered that they mentioned they were going to move to Florida in June.. ) I lost my quilts, items and money ( $400 ) ... I probably will never see it ...
They are driving black Ford Van and they have a couple of stickers on back of the window. One is Memory of Padiyn, one was a Florida boy pissing on Alabama, 2 couple with 5 kids Stick peoples sticker...

| Tressa is now using the name Tressa Scott. Traveling with Kevin L. Scott and 4 children (2 girls and 2 boys). Last seen in Melbourne, FL 12/11/2012. They rented a home from me for 3 months, two of those 3 months were paid for. My neighbors called me about a moving van in the driveway, because I rented the home furnished. I called Kevin on his cell phone but no answer, and had my neighbor walk over with his cell phone telling him I wanted to talk to him. He waived my neighbor away, and I subsequently called the sheriff's department and had 2 deputies walk through the house looking for my furnishings and the contents of the moving van. The all left shortly after the deputies left that night and had not been seen since. I had my neighbor replace the locks on the house until I could audit the contents. |

| I was not scammed by them but the did watch my 1 yr old son in their home in melbourne fl. As previous end mentioned they were"buying" the house and just moved here from il. Kids all seemed fine. She runs add on Craigslist and calls the daycare pitter patter. Me and my wife interviewed them for hours. We are college educated, Christians. We can't afford a regular daycare and we had just moved to the area. We found their add on Craigslist, interviewed them and the kids. Nothing seemed abnormal. Flexible with payments and drop off times. Decently clean home considering they had kids and a dog. My son loved them, I just wish he could talk. I stumbled upon the landlord and his post is above. I feel bad for the kids living in that home. Here I am trying to make a living, and these people have taken advantage of so many. Fronting as deaf Christians, with kids, but did claim to make reasonable income from doing computer programming consultations and that he worked from home and that his wife has never end worked just did some child are on the side. |
