TK Worldwide
TK Worldwide Kevin Bradberry It's a scam Grand Rapids, Michigan Internet
7th of Sep, 2011 by User390957
A few years back, I attended a training seminar for a local automotive dealership in the Holland area. I was charged a fee but also promised an interview at the end of the training and told that if I wasn't hired by that dealership, there were others who preferred "TK Worldwide candidates" over folks off the street. The whole thing sounded very convincing so I scraped the money together and attended the following two days of training . The actual complaint part of this story starts after the interview, I wasn't hired by that particular dealership but, there was another dealership in the area conducting interviews for TK Worldwide trainees and I asked the TK Worldwide representative if I could get an interview set up with that dealership, I was told that wasn't a possibility, (after being lead to believe they would help with job leads and interviews, the only thing they gave me came right out of the jobs section of The Holland Sentinal, I could have done that myself), the whole thing was a waste of time and there were false promises. I see they are still at it and still misleading folks who are looking for a job and taking advantage of our general belief that people are good and decent. I thought I would offer a heads up to anybody who didn't want to throw their money away and learn the hard way like myself! I contacted the BBB and got a partial refund, but after what I went through to get it, I can see why the company hasn't had more complaints!

As the founder and owner of this company I make it a point to respond to all complaints, just as I did with your initial complaint over 3 years ago. Regarding your anonymous warning to those who may wish to interview with us, our company no longer allows contract trainers to charge applicants for any services provided by us.

We allowed the BBB to arbitrate your complaint, and listen to both sides of the story. Then together you and I reached a settlement agreement that was to your satisfaction and the complaint was closed. Our trainers nor anyone in our organization would ever refuse a graduate of one of our training programs an interview or employment opportunity.

We are STILL WILLING to help you find employment even though it’s been over 3 years and you were also refunded fees paid to the trainer.

For interview assistance simply call our 800 number and let us know you would like interview assistance. If you meet the necessary criteria for employment in the automotive industry we will find interviews for you and assist you in achieving gainful employment. No fees will be requested by anyone in our organization for any reason.

Our company policy is clear and outlined in our advertising disclaimers as listed below.

“We are an automotive specific recruiting company and have been retained by the dealership(s) listed above to find talented individuals who wish to pursue an employment opportunity and career within this organization. We place applicants for all positions in a dealership. No candidates will ever be charged any fees for any services provided by us, the hiring dealership, or any of its affiliates. In addition, you may be offered free (company paid) training at the request of the hiring dealership.”

Note to everyone:

If you or someone you know ever has a complaint, question, concern, comment, or otherwise regarding my company, please feel free to call our home office and ask to speak to me personally. Identify yourself, what your issue is, and I will work hard to rectify your situation to the absolute best of my ability. Arbitration through the BBB is always your best course of action as the BBB has a resolution program that allows the 2 parties to dialogue about the issue and reach a mutual agreement for both parties to get closure on the issue.

Anonymous complaints are very difficult to resolve, as they serve only one purpose: To strike out at the other person, or company in anger with virtually no hope for any sort of resolution. There is no reason anyone should ever carry a burden around with them when an open invitation to resolve the matter, even a second time if necessary is on the table.
