| We received a phone call to notify us of our consumer rights to participate in a class action law suit against Burroughs and Chapin/Orange Lake due to issues from the buy out of South Beach Resort. We were told that we would legally no longer be responsible for any membership/dues from the resort and would be resolved of the ownership. We were sent a contract, copy of the company's business license (SC) and a list of complaints against the the resort. We were charge $399 for the filing fee and the processing with $1100 to be paid if/when the case was settled if there was a settlement. We were interview via phone call and told not to pay anything to the resort or accept any calls from them. Were told the case would be resolved within 90 days. Company updated website that complaints were finished and to email Frank. Email sent and email from Frank states "We have finished your complaint we do need to collect the final fee of $1,100 we have settled for 100% of selling price". Checked my account with the timeshare and was still active, called the timeshare company and still active. Called the executive office and spoke with Leah Ladd who states that they have not been served by any attorney and have no settlements and that Timeshare Legal Counsel is not a legitiment company. |

I sadly fell for the same thing! When I first signed up with them they told me they had an A+ BBB rating. I did go to the BBB and sure enough they did. So... I decided to do business with them. It wasn't long after that I decided to try to check a little further into the "company" and found out that ALL the addresses for the business are at UPS stores. I then thought uh oh!!! I went back to the BBB and there was no longer any rating for the company. I have not tried to get my money back yet, but im going to try. They not only are saying they will get you out but that you must default on your mortgage, (a timeshare is a mortgage), which will ruin your credit!!! I dont want to ruin my credit because of a business that now states that they will only communicate by E-mail because of overwhelming call volume and says that Agencies have all been informed about your issues and they suggest you write your Congressmen because no one seems to care about your issues with Orange Lake Resort. My congressman????? If I have to do the work what did I ever pay them for. Oh wait, turns out this must be a scam!!! They go on to say that they have filed with many agencies and somehow they have become the problem.
They state they have an Attorney hired and we will see these complaints through till the end. However, I have yet to receive ONE LETTER FROM ANYONE associated with this so called case. Here is Franks E-mail address: [email protected] |

| What you need to realize is that reputable attorneys do not go out and make phonecalls and ask for 399 dollars up front over the phone. Also, keep in mind that the con artists may have taken over the identity of an existing attorney who may be getting phonecalls for a class action fake class action law suit that he had nothing to do with. The FBI is currently investigating this stuff as not only do people lose money up front, but the innocent attorneys who have had their identity stolen will probably have bar complaints against them for something they did not do. It's disgusting how crooks think nothing of ruining other people's lives. Law school is not cheap and if this has happened to an attorney in your particular case, think that they are out of a lot more than just 399.00. Hopefully, the crooks will be caught. |

We are working with our owners to help adjust their accounts and bring them current, as we realize that this has affected many of you. We are currently investigating this fraudulent company. |

| anyone know what happend to timeshare legal counsel? I do know that orange lake is a bunch of lyers and we should not give in to them. I hope timeshare legal counsel is working on the case. please let me know if anyone knows for sure. i don't a reply of just a bunch of speculation or bs. |

| Has anyone dealt wtih Nevada National Advertising with a Patrick Dunn? I fell for what I believe to be a scam at this pont paying $599 upfront to be part of a class action lawsuit with Pacific Monarch Resorts. I have been promised a lot to get out of my timeshare membership. I have been contacted by no lawyer as documentation onthe web site stated and an now inbetween a rock and a hard place creating damage to my 825 credit score by now holding off paying my monthly and quarterly bills to the timeshare as advocated by Partick Dunn of Nevada National Advertising or so he said. I have repeatedly called to contact Partick and have been told that he will call back, he is in a meeting, he has left early to go home. The number to this group is 1-619-579-4525 out of I suspect San Diego. They were always calling me to get into the lawsuit and once they had my money, they seemed to never update me with what is going on or Patrick Dunn would never return my calls. I have also asked for their address location from the receptionist and was refused that information or a mailing address. What are they hidding. I am extremely sick to my stomach over this mess. Why are people like this allowed to do this. If anyone has actually been helped by this company, please email me with your results. My personal email is [email protected]. My wife and I did contact the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California via the internet search to find out if the claim number on the documents from Nevada National Advertising was valid and the phone number we came across had a person on the other end who confirmed it was a valid number. At this point, I am seeking the counsel of a local attorney to see what can be done at this point based upon this companies lack of responding to my repeated calls. |
