Do not do business of any kind with Thomas Dell Shanon! Last I knew he was on Lyon St in Murray Iowa. He sold me a cargo trailer a couple years back now and gave me paperwork that was incorrect. Apparently the trailer registration process in Iowa is a bit more lax than it is in Minnesota. End result is that I can't register my $2000 trailer in Minnesota since I don't have accurate paperwork. Honest mistake I figured so I called him to let him know this and asked if he would take a few minutes to update his registration. He said he would. Called him back a few weeks later since I hadn't heard from him and offer to pay him for his time and postage as well as anything he may have been charged to help speed things up and I got no answer nor any message. I tried calling him for the next month untill I finaly got a message. The message said "you're call can not be completed as dialed". He'd changed his number. I tracked him down a few weeks later on MySpace. Sent him a couple messages again requesting his help and got no response. I then sent his fiance a message on myspace asking if he was maybe not getting his messages and said I needed his assistance with a trailer he sold me. No response. Couple weeks later, their myspace pages were deleted. Apparently, this is not Mr Shannon' first hose job. A google search for Thomas Dell Shanon brings up more than a few complaints about him so I thought it was time to start a thread to warn people. The reason people want to receive your payment before they send the merchandise is becouse of guys like Thomas Dell Shannon. The reason people don't want to pay for something before they receive it is becouse of guys like Thomas Dell Shannon. Stay far away from Thomas Dell Shannon, he's no good.
