Thomas County Federal
Thomas County Federal Savings and Loan/Willis Palmer Bill Felts/BWB Auto Sales/Thomasville Auto Sales Fraudulant Car Title Thomasville, Georgia
19th of Jan, 2011 by User846902
Purchased vehicle on September 15, 2009, had numerous problems with vehicle registration. The dealership falsified the title in wrong state and wrong address. The Bank accepted the title, wouldn't cash the checks for vehicle registration and taxes that we already paid for in the loan due to the "dealership" wanting us to sign a release of liability in order to cash the checks for title registration and tag. Its been over a year since we have had the vehicle and the bank states that they are "satisified" even though the taxes were never paid and the vehicle is titled in wrong state and we cant get a tag. We have tried NUMEROUS attempts to get title fixed, get tag and/or atleast drive out tag and the bank refuses to release money owed to State of Tn along with holding the dealership responsible as well for vehiclenot being title correctly.

The Dealership, Thomasville Auto Sales/BWB Auto sales/Bill Felts, knowingly knew the correct address and still falsified the address and state on the title which is a felony offense. Mr. Palmer at the bank knew the title wasn't correct and even wrote a letter to the Office of Secretary of State Used Car Motor Vehicle Divsion admitting the falsified information of the title, how the dealership wants us to sign a release of liability and said that the dealership should be responsibile for the fraudulant title and unfair business practices. Mr. Palmer was aware however that the vehicle's title was obtained on January 29, 2010 to get titled so that we could get a tag, instead of the third drive out tag. Bill Felts held on to the title for almost 2 months andon March 16, 2010had someone title the car in Alabama, just to produce a title, never paid taxes or proper fees we were charged for title registration. Mr Palmer knew that in order to get a tag, the taxes had to be paid to the State of TNallowing the dealership to hold funds for the purpose of having to retain an attorney to re-coup the loan due to state regulations he was aware of that you have 21 days to satisfy a title in the State of GA if you don't then the lender has the Right to null and void the sale of vehicle. Mr Palmer is also aware that Alabama doesn't regulate motor vehicle registration and you can just "produce" a title for a vehicle.

We are NOT going to pay for the vehicle or be held responsible for any damages or "money" owed because the title is FRAUDULANT and I can no longer drive without a tag because of my insurance will not insure the vehicle because the title isn't properly registered. If the vehicle were wrecked, even though there isn't any damage to the vehicle other than normal wear and tear, my insurance will not insure or cover any costs associated with the vehicle and we can be personally sued. This has been the most stressful situation I have ever been in and now I am without a vehicle. The bank will not accept any responsibility, they are reporting late payments because we won't agree to pay for the vehicle because of the title not being properly titled and fraud is absolutely evident on behalf of dealership. The bank is just as guilty and responsible because they have the title, never realeased the checks (Which CALLED TO VERIFY IF FUNDS WERE AVAILABLE ON THE TWO CHECKS WRITTEN TO PAY FOR THE TAXES AND TITLE TRANSFER, THEY AREN'T AVAILABLE!!) to pay the taxes agreeing with the dealership to hold the funds because we won't sign a release of liability in order to JUST GET THE VEHICLE TITLED CORRECTLY AND GET A TAG!!!

This banking institution has behaved unethically lying to us that he would fix the title and is ruining our credit by reporting late payments. When I found out by not only my insurance but through police as well that I am not allowed to drive the vehicle at all because it doesn't have proper vehicle registration and a tag that I can get a ticket and/or be sued if I were to wreck the vehicle, I parked it!!! This has been not only stressful but we got the loan through Mr Palmer in good faith, paid for the vehicle for a year and he says he is satisfied with the title knowing its not titled correctly and could possibly have multiple titles producedand the unethical reputation of the dealership. The police has been involved with several other vehicle titles from this dealership and the bank is aware of this. People should be aware of fradulant and unethical practicesof BILL FELTS, BWB AUTO SALES, THOMASVILLE AUTO SALES AND THOMAS COUNTY FEDERAL SAVINGS & LOAN, WILLIS PALMER.I have all supporting evidence to prove my accusations. Pages and pages, one page is Thomas County Federal admitting that the title is incorrect, no such address has existed in our lives and we have never lived in Alabama along with the dealership commiting fraud (stated on application for Alabama its a felony offense) along with unfair business practices signed in BLUE INK by Willis Palmer, Vice President of the bank.
