I suggest that if you listen to this guys podcast that you do not ever for any reason financially support him as doing so would be encouraging this type of behavior and treatment of customers and people in general.
I have rarely run into such a tinpot dictator that gets off a power trip micromanaging those that use his forum as Jack Spirko. On top of the abuse he wants you to financially support his venture.
He will also claim as many business's do that he has no control over his forum because he has a staff of moderators. (Who do exactly as they are told it seems.)
Here are some of the reasons that the dictator banned me from his forum:

(Brand-new newbie got into a fight with Jack in the show comments, moved to the Forum to criticise Jack's libertarian purity, and immediately got into a fight with the mods.)
Free speech and disagreeing with the tin pot dictator. They use the word fight. Which is impossible to do in email people. (Jack did use profanity in a PM to me but he is the dictator and does not have to use the same etiquette that he demands of the mundanes on his forum.)
3/31/11: Reported post: Contacting members that post in show notes...
(Griping that he couldn't e-mail commenters in the show comments.)
Again disagreeing or suggesting that his Excellency could do things differently is cause to be banned from the tin-pot dictators forum.

(Assumed the mods were reposting stuff from his PMs instead of asking questions.)
Who knows what this means. But is sounds really really bad doesn't it?
I assumed something....bad, bad, bad. Really bad in the tin-pot dictator Jack Spirko's world.

I guess you can not disagree with anyone on the dictators forum. Again very bad inappropriate behavior -- arguing that people that want government intervention in our lives are not freedom loving. And forums are not for intellectual disagreement Jack and Mao both know that.

(First post in months, just said "RTFM" instead of being helpful.)
OMG they perceived a well used an accepted acronym response as impolite. Again I think they should have had me shot rather than banned for such an egregious behavior.
7/27/11: Attacked members for using the get-together boards that we set up for the purpose of planning get togethers and tried to convince members to give him their names and phone numbers.
Again I "attacked" in email whatever the hell that was supposed to mean. And I committed the egregious crime of wanting to contact some people.

| Jack doesn't know half as much as he wants you to think. He is a petty man who uses his site to compensate for male inadequacy. His "knowledge" of guns and gun laws will get people killed. Try and inform him of the law and real gun knowledge and you will find yourself banned for questioning his almighty power. Buyer beware! |

No complaint, here. Only a reminder that Jack Spirko's 'The Survival Podcast' is marketed as 'one man's view of the changing world and changing times...'
Supporting his program with a 'membership' is voluntary. Everyone can listen for free.
If you don't like it, don't participate. The fact that you expend so much energy in rant and name-calling suggests your complaint is fueled by emotion rather than facts. I would guess that you let your ego get the best of you. Perhaps you should start your own forum. Base it on whatever you like. Because of your attitude and the way you handle adversity, I doubt it will be successful. Good luck, my friend. |
