The Rigley Group
The Rigley Group Loan Reduction Hero Scam by Greedy Owner - Bait and Switch pulled on sales affiliates Quadrupled pricing Boca Raton, Florida
7th of Mar, 2011 by User713981
Darrell Rigley is a scam artist.
A great example of his profound unethical behavior is he will solicit his sales peoples clients, who have respond to the sales persons marketing efforts.
Then he will trash them when they question his unethical conduct, ruining your reputation in YOUR community.
HE hires independent sales contractors or affiliates and sets them up to use all of their contacts and centers of influence, then trashes them, slanders them, embarrasses them, and waists your money.
After affiliates have done extensive marketing based on a price, supposedly set in a contract, he will quadruple his fees. and cut commissions to fuel his greed.
Then he will change the wholesalers contract any time he feels like it to set you and your family up for more disappointment and grief, then change it again within hours.
He is a horrible Business person who just wings it.
He will tell you one minute that they are not a loan modification company, then the next minuet he says we are.
All a person has to do is look at their 30 page application and you can see it is a loan application.
People shouldn,t have to submit all of that information for negotiating a defective loan.
It is illegal to offer loan modifications or negotiations and charge a fee.
The reason why he changes course daily is he is clueless and could get you in legal trouble.
Stay away from this company and anything Darrell Rigley is involved in. He is a jock at best and a crook to.
Tell everyone you know to run as fast as they can if the here his name or Loan Reduction Hero His sales managers are as is clueless as he is.
He even tells people his Alzheimer's is kicking in, which seems to be a great mix with the booze or what ever hes smoking.

How is this considered a "rip off"? This forum is mostly for customer complaints and you are obviously not a cusgtomer. You made a CHOICE to become an affiliate with this company and then it appears as though you no longer agreed to the commission pay scale. You shoud have then found something better to do wtih your time and moved on to another business venture. Obviously you must be a disgruntled past affiliate.

Also, it is my understanding that affiliates and sales representatives of all companies are responsible for their own actions and they are to represent themselves in a truthful manner. If affiliates dont represent products correctly and make promises over what the company says they will do, then of course it would be the affiliate who is supposed to look bad and have their reputation ruined, not the company. The companies need to look out for THEIR reputation when they have a bunch of misinformed and unscrupulous affiliates representing them.

Furthermore, the amount a company decides to pay you for commission like www.cj.com is up to you to accept or reject. If you couldnt find any way to make money on your own and decided to be an affiliate marketing other business's services, then you have to agree to their commission terms, or just find something else to do. Nobody forces a person to become an affiliate of another business. It sounds like you are a major complainer and very childish. I am sure this poor company that you are unprofessionally trashing is glad to be rid of you.

An Insider’s Experience with The Rigley Group and Loan Reduction Hero

I am a former affiliate of The Rigley Group and Loan Reduction Hero. Since the company began last January, and after several hundred contracts have been submitted, I have neither observed nor heard of any substantiated settlements for TRG’s clients. The company actually has only been doing forensic audits and attempting loan reductions as they prefer to call their loan modification service since the first of 2011.

There have made many claims of successful outcomes and advertise a 90% successes rate. But nothing could be further from the truth. On cases they claimed to be actual successful settlements, later it came to light they were actually the results of other Loan Modification Companies.

As to the forensic audit that they are charging thousands of dollars upfront for, they use this to circumvent FTC regulations prohibiting charging upfront fees for loan modification services.

These audits can actually be purchased for between $200-300 elsewhere, and in most cases will be equal to and/or even superior to those provided by TRG.

What I have witnessed with the notification of violations letter being presented to the lenders is the banks/lenders really don’t care. No one is holding them accountable and a letter from The Rigley Group produces no results.

Many of the clients who retained TRG services earlier this year are now having their homes go into
foreclosure or having actual auction dates set on them. Some have already lost their homes at trustee
auctions. As an explanation as to why this happened, Darrell Rigley, CEO of the Rigley Group claims that the client did not follow his advice or recommendations, advice of which most of time was incorrect for the state that the foreclosure proceedings were taking place in.

Now that many of TRG’s existing clients are having their homes go into foreclosure and trustee sale dates being set, TRG is asking for additional fees of $1495 plus $695 a month for a foreclosure defense.

It is particularly interesting that TRG is not offering this service in California. As anyone working with mortgage foreclosure issues in California must be registered. Their registration process requires the company providing foreclosure services to submit to the state all advertising material being used, and post a $100, 000 bond. TRG has decided to operate in states that have no such requirements.

I sincerely wish TRG could have delivered on what they claimed. However, in the end they proved to be just another company taking advantage of someone else's hardship.

I am filing complaints with the Florida Attorney General, California Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission.
