I wrote several letters to poetry.com between the year 2000 and 2006. They wrote many lettrs to me both through the snail mail and e mail, seeking my authority to puplish my poems, I replied to some of the mails by sending them a proofread and corrected copies of my poems through the Address: 1 Poetry Plaza, Owings Mills, MD, 21117-6282. I authorised some of the publications of my poems also at their website www.poetry.com. These are the details of some of the letters I got from them, telling me that I qualify to attend the International Library of Poetry Symposium to be held in Washington DC. 1. Poem tittle "It shall be over soon", VIP number given me by poetry.com through a snail mail letter, P4163797 Book Publication name: Letters from the Soul Symposium date 23rd to 25th of August 2002 Place: Washington DC 2. Poem tittle: If and only If. VIP number, P6898578 Publication name: Eternal Portraits Symposium place: Washington DC, date: 19th to 21st August, 2005. I have about five of such letters with me now that tells me that I am qualified to attend the meetings, I was asked to keep the dates and they will soon send me an official invitation to the symposiums, which I have not got till this year, 2011. I also have several letters from them with me now, asking for my authority to let them publish my poems and also record some on CDs and Tapes for people to listen to. Initially, I could log on to their website, and search for and read all the poems I sent them, now the website is missing and the poems. I began writing to them in 2000, with my first poem tittled " God will make a way", I used my Ghanaian address, through which they sent me these letters, but later, Ghana disappeared from the list of countries mysteriously, but I still to write to them from Ghana but in the country column, a few times, I used United kingdom and South Africa which demanded that the letters from poetry.com to me have to undergo forwarding service which is shown on the envelops I have now. I want someone to assist me get the whole truth about this so called International Open poetry contest, which stole my poems, made me waste money to post letters, fulled me with the so called invitations to the symposium etc. |

They sent me an E-Mail saying that i won an my poem was being published in a book called "Letters From The Soul" In turn i could purchase the book for $99.00 and all proceeds would go to help find a cure for Juvienile diabetes. Since it was for such a great cause i purchased the book which i never received! and even now i look for it online and can not find the old website or the book. thats how i found this website.
