The Color Coach promises to eliminate guesswork when choosing colors to paint your home. The slogan is "Get It Right the First Time." It's more like, "Charge Up the Wazoo and Don't Deliver."

The promise is they will eliminate the need to go to the paint store, gather paint samples, and put samples on the wall with a one-time appointment.

I met with Kathleen Jewell for exactly one hour. She gave me 4 color chips and wrote down on a sheet her suggestions for where they should go.

I thought she would at least show me a rendering so I could see how the colors look together. But nothing doing.

She charges $375 for this! Her ad says 1/2 hour free with an hour consultation. So I guess her regular fee is $750.

Don't hire this scam artist! You will still have to go to the paint store, get paint samples and roll them on your walls. It's just not worth it!

I totally disagree! I just had the amazing experience with Kathleen and she spent 2 1/2 hours with me and gave me great recommendations on my entire home and even my garage. We haven't painted yet but we picked out colors together so I gave the green light on every color selected. Then she wrote down in detail where every color will go some can show my painter.

I would highly recommend Kathleen!

The above complaint is not remotely like my experience. Kathleen worked with me in selecting colors for every room in my house and even the exterior. She spent hours with me asking questions about how different rooms and colors made me feel and then we went room by room and picked out all the colors. She provided me with swatches of all the colors and a detailed guide of surfaces, sheens, and colors for the painters to follow. My painters finished the inside last week and the results are gorgeous. The exterior will be done next month. I would never have been bold enough to choose these colors on my own and I would never have gotten this beautiful decorator look I strongly recommend using Kathleen before spending money on repainting..
