Texas Career Solutions High on Promises of Interviews, Did Not Deliver Addison, Illinois |
18th of Mar, 2011 by User672267 |
My experience was very similar to other reports. Kent Miller seemed very genuine and the process started off as was described. I got a so-so looking resume in a reasonably short time. (I did have to get back with the resume gal to correct some mistakes) After a couple of months of trying, with minimal reply, to document the services provided I finally gave up and kissed my money goodbye. I was lucky and found good employment within a couple of more weeks (using a resume I created) or I might have tried to get more out of Mr. Miller. From my experience with him, I think that would have been useless effort as well. |

I just got a call from Kent - promising to find me a new position a quite a high salary...it's very tempting, as I haven't had much luck finding a position that truely suits me. However, after reading MANY complaints on various websites - I think I'll take a pass.
Thanks to all for your honesty - and for saving me time and money!!!

I had the same experience with Career Solutions located in the Williams Tower of Houston, TX. I can personally vouch for the legitimacy of these complaints. This company has a bad reputation by their former clients. There is not one single positive review by anyone anywhere on the internet when I wrote this complaint. Do your own research and you will come to the same conclusion as me - SCAM!!! |

I made the mistake of thinking the complaints were just a few bad apples. I wasnt desperate but needed to find a job as I didnt have one. They made empty promises and never delivered. I have complained several times and they promised to put more resources on my search. I have had several interviews through my own efforts and nothing through them. They are scum and use the fancy setting to make you think they are successful. I am living exactly what the negative reviews state. I have personally spoken with others that have had the same experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I am out money I need to live off of due to my trusting them. SCAM!!! |

I am glad I read these complaints. Kent is very polished and knows how to sell. But, listen carefully to what he says and what always seems to good to be true usually is. Also, he wants $2, 500 and promises a lot of work for you. The numbers do not add up. No way can he do all that he says they can do for that amount of money. You are much better off on your own. Very few recruiters you pay for will EVER do you any good. I had my resume reviewed before I went to him and it exposed some of his ploys. Stay away and save your money. |
