ZERO Customer Service

I have had innumerable problems with squareup.com. My problems are not unlike many others I'v read about; unreliable service, arbitrarily holding funds and ZERO - repeat ZERO customer service. It seems to me that squareup is either a giant scam, a collection of incompetent morons or, more likely, a cartel of slick lawyers and accountants who are gaming the system for personal wealth.

Think about it. They know that their key customer, small business owners, have neither the time nor the finances to pursue legal issues with squareup, particularly the arbitrary withholdng of funds. Even if the issue is resolved, it usually takes weeks or months, during which time the business owner's cash flow is impacted and squareup is using their money. The squareup people also realize that the cost of winning a small dispute often outweighs the benefit. The odds are greatly in squareup's favor that the issue will be brushed aside because people are just too busy to deal with such aggravating issues for such small amounts. Its a calculated risk, and the odds are truly in squareup's favor.

Last, they have ZERO - repeat, ZERO - customer service. If they were really interested in developing loyal customers and running a business with integrity they'd have an actual customer service phone number with a real live person at the other end. Worst case, they'd at least answer e-mails. They do neither!

So the bigwigs are laughing all the way to the yacht club while their underlings deal with the headaches. I believe they don't give a &^%$ about their customers, and that they fully expect to file for bankruptcy when the heat gets too hot. They'll still end up with millions upon millions. That's how it works folks, no matter what your political stripe is.
