Techiewarehouse.com Failure to provide purchased merchandise Albany, New York

This complaint is based on the failure of the online merchant to provide the product after it was purchased by the consumer. A Cell phone accessory was purchased on 6/19/2011 via the internet using a major credit card. A subsequent email was recieved by the consumer confirming the purchase and stating that the item was being processed. The website stated and touted its record of fast shipping and customer satisfaction with "feedback" from "happy" customers, pleased with their timely delivery. My credit card was debited for the purchase amount within 48 hours, but no shipment confirmation email was received. After 5 days, an email was sent to customer service requesting status of purchased item but no response was received. After 7 days, a voicemail was placed with Customer service requesting IMMEDIATE status of shipment of purchased product. ON the 8th day another voicemail was placed requesting the cancellation of purchased item and a full credit applied to my credit dard. On the 9th day, after receiving no confirmation emails, credit or purchased part, I contacted my credit card compnay who promptly credited my account and assured me that they would be aggressively pursuing the company to reclaim the monies that were due them. The company in Question, the online Electronics accessories merchant Techiewarehouse.com, has demonstrated a complete disregard for standard and acceptable business practices. With no regard for the consumer, It has refused to initiate the most basic levels of Customer Service in response to a simple online purchase. The company wasted no time in snatching my Money, but when it came time to deliver the goods, they were no where to be found. In writing this complaint, my only intention is to bring to light the total failure that this Online merchant has demonstrated in providing a reliable service to the public. I sincerly hope that other comsumers might use this incident as a factor in deciding whether to purchase from this Company.
