This is a warning to all future customers of Tanner Transmission. I would advise anyone who needs transmission work done on their car to AVOID TANNER. I recently took my car here to have the transmission checked. They told me that is was in need of a rebuild and that it would take 2 days. I thought, "okay" that's fair. It took them 2 WEEKS to get my car back to me. When I recieved it it was very very dirty inside, almost as if they had used it as a donut fryer. Filthy. But the real problems became apparant when I started to drive it. It was clearly not fixed correctly or road tested by the mechanic because it made horrible grinding noises in the middle gears. I took it back to them and asked them to fix it please. The grumbled at length at me bringing it back to have it done right, and then after claiming it was fixed, I drove it away from the shop only to find it doing the exact same thing! I had to take it back a THIRD time, and this time they told me I needed to pay for the fix myself!!!! I have a year warranty, and they're telling me to pay for it myself after only 1 week???? I kid you not people. Now I am out $2500 bucks and my car is MESSED UP. If I can warn even a few people about this place so that you can AVOID it, I will feel better about getting taken myself.
