Tampa Singles This company did not honor the contract signed and agreed upon Tampa, Florida |

When I first signed up with this company, they agreed to draft my monthly payments the second weekend of every month. This was the contract we signed and agreed upon. I noticed payment did not come out on the agreed upon date. I emailed them, with no response. They actuallydrafted my account on the 25th and caused my rent check to bounce. This caused a $50 NSF fee with my bank on top of over $200 in late fees from my landlord. I also tried to call their office with no response and finally sent another email. After my 3rd attempt, I finally got a response. The woman who responded offered to take the $50 NSF fee off my next months bill and the woman who made the error was reprimanded and "sincerely sorry". I told them, that this was not acceptable customer service. I told them it should not take that long for them to respond to such a sensitive issue as billing andsince they did not honor that agreement, it is now void. I asked them to refund all the money I had paid and to terminate our relationship. Thankfully they agreed and I no longer have to worry about their shady business practices. i called my bank as well to put a stop payment on their auto bank draft, just to be on the safe side.

Sorry to hear that, but it doesn't surprise me one bit. They are one of a few operations using a website which appears to be an online dating website but once you click on the first link you are immediately taken to a few forms on the back end where they gather contact and other information. You are then redirected to a real online dating site.
They then use the information they gathered to contact you at home and setup a meeting to discuss their service. Be aware that once you go to this meeting they will try to sell you a dating plan for $4000 and will lower this amount to as low as $1000 with an easy payment plan to get you before you can leave.
Once you are a member with a signed contract the politeness goes right out the window and your basically told no matter how you are matched and whether you are satisfied with the service or not they are not obligated under contract to do anything but match you a certain amount of times for X number of dollars. You will also be reminded or shall I say threatened about your financial obligations to them.
One of the worst things is that people don't know is when you are matched you are basically setup to go on a completely blind date at a high priced so called venue (restaurant). You absolutely get no photograph or have any contact with the person until you meet at the venue. This in my eyes is ridiculous seeing that some people pay upwards of $400 per date.
They claim to be the biggest and the best but they are not even registered with the better business bureau (but the BBB still has registered complaints against them). and actually I know that the person in charge of matching clients is an older woman who works from home far away from Tampa to boot. Sad Really =(
Be very careful if you see yourself going through the above mentioned routine because you are headed for Tampa Singles advertising and dating scam. Honestly you will be very sorry you ever dealt with them at all. You will unfortunately in the end be made out to be the " bad person ". There is a lot of finger pointing once you realize they really don't even have anyone for you to date - let alone the quality person you where so hoping to meet. As soon as you start to question their service you will understand what I mean.
My advice: DON'T EVEN TALK TO THEM. They can't help you, they will only try to take your money and frustrate you further.
Good luck with your dating search my friends... "GRANT" |
