I too was recruited by Tahoe Industries and I will tell you the TRUTH about the company and owner/manager! During my interview I was promised 200k/yr working at my own schedule by a "gentleman" named Scott Frybarger. Scott claimed to be the owner of the company and said he was expanding his sales crew. I ended up taking the position and was taught "the pitch". THE PITCH - (Simplified)
Would you take a bunch of Honda power equipment if my company were just dumping it?? Let me show you... The salesmen just got done demoing this equipment and it is too expensive to ship back because of HASMAT so we just have to dump it. (Show equipment) Here is price sheet. $20k total at bottom. My boss said if you would just help him with the cost of this one piece (listed $6980) he would let you have it all! THE SKINNY -
This is not demoed equipment! (There was no show)
This equipment is not worth $20k. More like 3k.
The sales sheet is fake. Completely made up numbers written up and xeroxed by Scott.
Tahoe has nothing to do with Honda. Call Honda, ask them!
The warranties are fake.
It is a scam! Cheap equipment Honda stickers put on. Justin from Garden City Kansas was completely accurate in his description. I had almost the EXACT same experience! Scott Frybarger is a con artist and pathological liar, albeit a damn good salesman. I was lied to by Scott Frybarger almost everyday while working for Tahoe.
