| I was trying to access an old HDD and couldn't get my computer to recognize it even though you could hear it spin up. I called a data recovery company only to find it was too expensive. I searched for a software program and found a data recovery program at Systools. I downloaded the demo version and it didn't work. I contacted Systools via chat as they don't give any phone number. I was told to purchase the program which would include support and it was guaranteed to work or my money back and that I had nothing to lose. I explained what I was trying to do and was told don't worry it's guaranteed. I purchased it and tech support tried to connect and couldn't. I canceled it and asked for a refund. While on Paypal site in their dispute room chat they asked to access my computer and I let them. After trying the tech said there was no software in the world that would connect to my drive. I said fine I want a refund. It has been almost a week and despite numerics emails I hear nothing back from them. I though buying through PayPal was safe only to find they will not get involved and say they have nothing to do with it. I am going to refer it to a Sacramento TV station which helps consumers who have been screwed. Just warning everyone that Systools word will not get you the refund they promise you. |

Something very close happened to me. I downloaded a demo version of Word Recovery as I had a corrupted word document. It revealed the first two paragraphs. Great, right? So I paid $45 to get the full version from Systools, but that is all I able to recover- 2 paragraphs out of 8 pages. I, like you contacted via chat and they went on my computer. They too were unable to recover more than 2 paragraphs. So, I uploaded the file to them. Days went by, nothing heard back. Logged on again to chat. No one knew were my file was. I sent it again, and again, nothing. I logged in again to chat, and the tech said "we have recovered you document" I opened it, and those lone 2 paragraphs were staring back at me. So I
researched their refund policy (which promises a complete refund in cases like this), and sent in emails asking for a refund. No response. Contacted paypal. Neil Adcock (Systools rep) promised to refund my money if they were unable to recover the document. Basically Systools wanted one more chance. I sent in the file, and amazingly I heard nothing back. To make matters worse, Paypal denied my claim, calling the software 'intangible'. Of course, I contacted the company again, hoping that Neil would honour his promise. Naturally, the email black-hole remained- no response. Why would they? Paypal backs them up by denying claims based on the intangible nature of their product. Great scam Systools!!! Ironically, they even have a webpage on their site- too funny. Maybe Neil'smom came up with those awards :) |

| SysTools Software is complete fraud as they have given a fraud address there no phone number which no where exist in the world. I have searched with name Evan Swan as the developement head this also seems to be a fraud. sysTools has got more then 1500 websites and I would request if google can put some penelities on then as it not fair. |

| I am really surprised after reading the above statements because I had a complete different experience while using hard drive recovery software of SysTools. I managed to recover 90% of my data using this software. Don’t know why you guys were not able to recover. I even recommended the tool to my friend as this software works in the most severe corruption cases. Helan |

I have visited the company’s website www.systoolsgroup.com. The company has more than 60 software products. How can a company with such a huge and vast range of products can be fake? I even researched online and found that even the industry giant, IBM, has recommended the solutions of SysTools. Even the very well-known www.eHow.com has recommended SysTools products for migration and recovery of data.

Totally agree! This company is are FRAUDSTERS!!!
They promise if it does not work, we will refund you! Good luck!! I tried working with their support team to recover my OST file, and it did not work.
They do not honor what they say. Also, BEWARE paypal will not help you, because this is a "intagable" good, which they do not involve themselves in. Systool group knows this, and let the paypal case expire!
You will need to do a charge back from your credit card company in order to get your money back! |

| I had a similar experience to Anya, but with MBOX to Outlook Converter. I downloaded the trial version and verified that it correctly converted 15 emails. As a result, I purchased the Full version and began my conversion only to find that most of my converted emails were corrupt or barely readable. I contacted their support group and they really did try to solve the problem, but unable to do so. When i requested a refund all help ended and response ended. Numerous attempts to contact them regarding a refund have been in vain. I certainly would not recommend doing business with this company! |
