I don't even know where to start with this nightmare of a shop!! It all started when I purchased a voucher on Heartsy (http://tinyurl.com/HeartsySite a groupon site for handmade items) on April 28th for Christina's etsy shop called SwanMountainsSoaps. I ordered $44 dollars worth of soaps from her. Anyhow, on June 1st I realized it's been a little over a month, and I still didn't get my order from her. I figured it was taking a little longer because she was so overwhelmed with the amount of orders coming in from Heartsy.. so I didn't really care at first. So I let it go for a couple more days before I contacted her about it. I have gotten items from China/Hong Kong quicker than this. And we all know how long that crap takes to get to North America. (lol) (FYI-everything in quotes and in BOLD below is SwanMountainsoap's EXACT words from convos) Anyhow..after waiting the couple more days I finally contacted Christina (June 4th) telling her I still didn't get my order, and asked if she had a tracking number or anything for me. Well her reply back to me said (and I quote!) Christina:''Oh no, I was afraid of this. I had three other international orders and two of them have also convoed me to say they did not receive their orders either." She then stated -''Apparently the person I (stupidly) trusted to help take my packages to the po for me never took some of them there. She says she did, but there are no tracking numbers or reciepts or anything'' - Very fine coincidence that the "theif" didn't supply HER with proof, so she couldn't supply ME with proof. I surprised she didn't say her dog ate my soap! I found that story all very suspicious, and convenient for her. She obviously knew this happened before I sent this message because she said 2 other people contacted her as well, but she didn't notify me of this until I contacted her first?! All very weird, and NOTHING added up. I mean she is that bad of a liar, she couldn't keep her lies straight. In just one message she had two different stories. Come on lady! if you're going to lie, write your dang stories out so you'll remember them! Duh. --I would love to know what excuses she gave the other couple dozen suckers. But unfortunately with Etsy's new inane feedback privacy, I'll never know.-- Anyhow, I then went through all of her feedback to see what others were saying, and she had 22 neutral and 11 negative. (Read attached photo for feedback remarks) Some of the feedback mentioned non-delivery issues, missing items, and poor quality items. What pisses me off, she didn't even offer me a refund AND without even asking me what I wanted to do, she just [said] she will resend the items... BUT only if she had my items still in stock. WTF! I am a PAYING customer. If I place an order I WANT the items I ordered! That comment was a major tip off of her dishonesty. I knew then she didn't send my items at all from the start. What I think.. is she didn't realize what she was getting into with her Heartsy feature, and sold a lot more items than expected, and she ran out of supplies, and tried to buy time with excuse until she made more soaps(or wait for made soaps to cure) etc..OR she got so swamped that she FORGOT to send a few package(s) In the last and final message from SMS[Christina]; she even resorted to claiming her child was sick; which delayed her again from sending orders out right away the 2nd time. Oy vey! Well it is now 2 plus months later, and even the second package didn't yet arrive. I doubt VERY much my package was ever sent, let alone twice that she claimed. And frankly, after waiting 9 weeks, I don't even WANT her items anymore. To top it all off. She's was posting like a mad woman on the forums on Etsy, 3 different soap making forums (off Etsy) about people who resell soaps bought from wholesale sites. All while people were waiting for their packages. She has also been caught red handed giving out her customer's personal information (names and addresses) in order to "nail" soap resellers. [But THAT is whole other story. Whew!] Christina has no shame, and doesn't seem to give one hoot about the missing orders; or even try to fix her mistakes; and make her customer's happy. She also holds feedback hostage, and now I know why! she even knows she is lack in sending orders! So after all this mess, I'm still without my soap, and without my money. She didn't offer me ANY compensation for ANY of it. I had to contact Heartsy to get my money back. And I'm STILL waiting on them. BUT even if I don't get my money or my order..my negative feedback for her IS my pay back, and I am very happy about that . Hopefully other potential customers read it, and stay CLEAR of her. That being said; DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP ON ETSY! I warn you. You'll get NO product, and a whole lotta BS. yummm BS. I bet it smells better than dirty liar soap.
