Summit Legal Group, P.A. Failure to refund retainer upon non-performance Internet |
16th of May, 2011 by User118864 |
Summit Legal is a fraud. They make promises of negotiating loan modifications, but in reality they do nothing. They take your information, collect a retainer and do nothing toward negotiating a modification as discussed upfront. When you contact them for a status update you are always told that they are in contact with your bank and working on it. I have left messages and sent emails requesting a refund but no one will answer. |

There are many complaints about this firm, and the numbers is growing at an alarming rate. If you feel strongly, call Summit and tell them that you are joining in a class action lawsuit. |

I agree with you Summit Legal Group is a fraud. I would like to join a class action lawsuit against them. |

Other victims include [email protected] and [email protected]. You may want to contact them about pursuing a class action lawsuit. You can also contact Shirley Coleman at the Florida Bar Association (407-515-3262). You should also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. You should deal directly with your bank, and if your bank is unresponsive, file a Better Business Bureau Complaint. |

Call the Florida Attorney General at 561-837-5000. Extension 123 or 124. Post your complaint. If there are enough complaints they will have to do something. |

Count me in on a class action. [email protected]. Been getting the same run around as everyone else. Meanwhile spent an hour on the phone with my bank last night trying to figure out what to do. |

You might want to report them to the IRS. You can be sure they didn't pay taxes on any of the money they received, but the IRS can track down their bank accounts and property if they get enough complaints. Randy Baker and Aren Anderton are losers!! They were married and forged his son's name on an equity loan for $25, 000. Nice dad huh!! I hope you are all successful... |

Divorcedhisass is right,
Randy and William O'Toole are the two people that need to pay here, i only feel bad for all the other employees that are being treated like crooks, i have spoken in lenght with two of their employees (one of them has been mentioned here before) who have informed me of the fact that Mr. Baker and Mr. O'Toole told all of them what to do, and were directing all actions and communication, and only the two of them controlled all onies and bank accounts (no one else). The other people were told everything was legit, until this started happening. They have all quit since then and i'm sure if you reach out to one of these employees, they will help you. |

To Divorcedhisass and Michaelforr:
If you feel that strongly, contact the Florida Attorney General and Florida Bar, or leave your email addresses. |
