Stuart Allan & Associates buys debt from various insurance companies without following up to see if the debt is valid. They refuse from the very beginning to give an itemization of debt and keep on threatening to ruin credit report and with further litigation. The company involved is Conseco Insurance Co. and they force agents out of the business and then bill them for everything they were ever paid on and more, with chump over charging for E & O insurance after the agent quit, gifts that were supposedly ordered and never paid for, etc. The agent gets a huge bill and does not know how to itemize it. One person says $2200 and this company says its $3800!!!! Still no itemization from Dec. 17, 2010. There is a collector there by the name of Lisa Turner who theatened to send my account to litigation without sending me proof of debt. She is doing it to another Conseco agent by the name of Craig Leonard also. He still hasn't ever recieved proof of debt from either Conceco or Stuart Allan!!!!! Conseco lures agents in with promises of sites given to them, all teachers in Broward County. They use PMA-a marketing company with a contract with Brightstar Credit Union...we slip in the schools through the back door and then try and sell supplemental to the teachers. We also take all information by paper applications and then transfer them illegally to a computer---I quit because of this!!!

Are you positive they buy debt from the various insurance companies. I am trying to negotiate with them for a debt with an insurance company and they say my offer has been rejected from the original insurance company is this all b.s. if they own the debt???

I even emailed the original insurance company and they said I had to contact stuart allan I would have more leverage if I know there full of crap and they can take whatever I give them without regards to the original debtor
