I started off telling the company that I only wanted my money back for the second part of the charges. At first they charged me for 800 plus dollars with the understanding that I was to receive 2 airline vouchers, books, and membership.
They called me again asking if it was the right card to bill. I said yes not hearing them. Then when he stated something else I had the understanding it was to keep the file correct as they do charge monthly but I did not hear him say anything about 700 plus dollars I was to be billed that day. I got a report from my bank stating unusual charges. I of course immediately called back wondering why I was billed. This time the man said he was clear, he was not. He then said he would fill out customer service report and I would receive a call that day. I had to wait until after I told them I was unhappy with the company and would investigate and file a complaint that I received a call.
The man in charge of customer service tells me they have me recorded agreeing, but what happened to the recording of me calling back immediately stating this is not something I wanted. He says they begin personalizing right and I cannot receive a refund. Also, what happened to the original recording where the lady did not stick to a script as he stated. She asked if I had gone on vacation, and told me about the two books as well as the air plane vouchers. Mind you, she said two but later they said it comes with the second billing. This is not what I was originally told. The worst part is the money from my account is gone and all they care about is a recording of one conversation but not of the original conversation where I was told wrong and the manager of customer service is rude and insulting. He told me I was confused and had buyers remorse and it was a misunderstanding but they fail to see how they lacked communication skills. No one is perfect, your script is not perfect. And your practices are legal but unethical. When I tried to give him suggestions on the script he told insulted me again. When I asked to speak to someone higher he said there was no one. I doubt this seriously.
He said he would wave all my monthly payments and credit me $300 but I will still be charged another 400 plus dollars. I have paid this company over a $1,500 because of their lack of communication skills. I do not wish to cause trouble, I simply want my money back. But, if I cannot have it back I would at least expect the head to be considerate. |
