| This company is on the brink of a major govermental, credentialing and civil investigation for defrauding millions of dollars from consumers like Insurance companies and private parties. For starters, the man who founded this fake program is a Hindu man who was run out of England for inpersonating a doctor. His name is Tonmoy Sharma( Google it). Then, their marketing department headed by a woman named Vicky Hartman, is seriously misleading unsuspecting customers who are desperate to put their loved ones in treatment. Insurance companies are being defrauded by using very unethical practices. This agency is being staffed by Interns who have almost no knowledge of substace abuse treament and have no soultion to offer. Therapist have serious boundary issues by creating very unhealthy relationships that go on at all hours of the day with no restrictions on time and place. The staff members who really make a difference are being paid as " private contractors " so that this company doesn't have to provide any benefits for them. This place is seriously unethical and exploitative and consuemsr deserve to know the truth. |

| I must be a voice on behalf of those who have left Sovereign after finding out they were lied to and their meds were mismanaged amongst other major unethical issues. This place gives a bad name to the mental health field. Some of the staff there, including the man who runs the place, Tonmoy Sharma, and a couple of others, namely Vicki Hartman and Ruth Lewis are lining their pockets with the hard earned money of those seeking help for themselves or their loved ones. They have billed insurance companies fraudulently, as well as one of the house managers have negligently left a patient behind on purpose and they covered it up to make it look like he left against medical advice, not to mention the way they dispense meds is an absolute joke. Someone is going to die one of these days due to the way meds are handled there! I know because I have seen it firsthand and witnessed it! I use to work there and left because of the unethical practices I saw. It made me sick! Check out Tonmoy Sharma before sending your loved ones to this place. I would never entrust my loved ones to this place where they try to portray their facility and programs to look like a Southern CA resort, which is a far cry from what they say on their web site. They are also being investigated by the State and there are many other complaints on Ripoff Report.com and Complaints Board.com, as well as Yelp. Check it out!! Be wise, be careful and don't throw your money away so these crooks can line their pockets! Instead, take your loved ones to a legitimate treatment center where they are honest and treat people with dignity and respect. I think some of postive reviews are phony just to make them look good in the light! Some of the staff there does not even practice what they preach and what they represent by the way they live. One of the staff members got so drunk at the Christmas party, she practically made a fool of herself and when Tonmoy Sharma was asked if he cared that his staff members are setting a bad example, his flippent comment was that of an uncaring attitude. One patient was left in the Wal-mart parking lot, pushed away from the transportation van and the doors locked so he couldn't get in, while the house manager on that shift carelessly drove away. These actions SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING IN THE HUMAN SERVICES FIELD! They don't know the meaning of "DO NO HARM". Sickening! |
