I have been a timeshare owner for several years. I was dissapointed in the service from Wyndham so when i got the invitation to go for a weekend with Spinnaker I went for it. The weekend started great. Sales presentation was very professional. Saw two gorgeous condoes. Made a deal including a "trade in " of the points I owned with Wyndham. Peachy right? Wrong. When we went for our first trip to stay in our great condo we wound up in a building no one ever sees. Dated, worn, furniture, Holes in the wall (basketball size) that have just been taped over and painted. Shared prking with the registration area of the resort. This is not bad enough we are told we need to attend an upgrade meeting before we receive any of the perks from our stay. This is where we really got dumped on. We were told no one is 'deeded' in the building we are in. Well we can fix this for 6000 more dollars. (With the trade in and cash we already paid 24K). The sales manager was the rudest woman(no lady) we have ever dealt with. Up in our faces caused my wife to break down and cry in anger. We were told we shouldn't have been so stupid and shoould have looked at our contract before we signed. How did we know Building 1 was a dump? No one showed it to us. I have been all the way to the CEO to get this resolved and still have no resolution in site. 8 months later. Lots of promises but no results and extrreme difficulty in getting phone calls returned. Forget e-mail no addresses given. If you own something else already don't trade it in for this place. You wont know what you might wind up with.
