After the first class I became ill and was hospitalize I then call South University and was told to withdrew before the class started I was told I owe nothing but to my amazementsoonafter thatmy nightmare began with South University calling and stating I need to pay themin the thousand since Igot out of the second class, I explained again that I withdrew on time long before the class started and I was in the hospital but they kept calling me and treatening me on paying them. I finally agreed and paid all totally! I have my online receiptsout of my small fix income. Howeverby then Sally Mae also began to calland said I owe them in the Thousands I could not understand I kept stating that I paid but then I was told thatmoney when toSouth University and not to SallyMae

I then called the University office but was told that they will work on it and will call me backand I should do a forbearance with SallyMae till they resolvethe sitution they would call me back in two weeks. I waited a month but never heard from them But by that time SallyMae is calling me just about everyday and told me my credit is now being affected. I sent a registered letter to South University again no response,One class does not costSIX thousand dollarsandSouth Universitykept my money.I paid them out of my fix incomeplus the money they receive from sallymaenever givingback the money owed to SallyMae. After severals calls and letters to no avail I then had to prove my disability to SallyMae thinking that South University will stilleither give back the money and respond to SallyMae but that never happen late last year.

Now I can never go to another University as I had to prove medically to SallyMaethat I was sick andmy good credit is now messed up nor will I be able to apply to any University for a student loan this make me very depress just thinking about the mess. Yes now I realized how I was pressured into taking a class and afterthey got me to sign up theySTOLE the Goverment money and minekeeping all to themselves.As an elderly I wasthinking I can better myself but with tearsthey took that awayfrom me.They are a ripoff manipulative unprofessional school and should not get away with cases like this. Please donot make the mistake as I did it is sad for me now as I am an older citizen who was trying to do more and continue to make a difference but now I am stuck due to the RIPOFF fromSouth University.
