Solaron inc. bait and switch, job done poorly, refuses to fix valid warranty mistakes of job Rancho Cordova, California |

I called office 4 weeks ago to schedule app., did not receive call back, called last week and was sch. for tues apr. 26. Asked warr. rep. if solar sensor that was broke if it was on roof, or ground piping. i would buy part myself and install if it was on ground, but told her to send svc. man out since she said on roof. rep. show up apr. 26, said unit was on ground, not roof, and charge is $120.00. told rep. that was bait and switch, got a little mad, but nothing said direct towards rep., and did not yell at rep. rep. refused to call office to straighten out issue, would not sell me part. decided to have rep. install, then complain to mgr. rep. install unit wrong, it is spewing water from pipe, hook up electrical part not to any known electrical code. rep. did not come back in yard after install, refuse to demonstrate that part worked, was not going to give me a receipt; finally gave me receipt and left. call office 4/26, left msg. for mgr./owner Ron. Ron called me back 4/27, did not listen to full story, did not apologize, did not investigate my story, said would send my check back, i said fine and we hung up. went out to check work after conversation, found errors of install listed above. called back for warranty person, but they had Ron call back. He kept trying to change my mind about the servic, in a rude fashion, until I had to tell him to please stop. hepromised to personally come out and fix the issue tomm. 4/28. He was shown no attitude by me, was not yelled at, and I was not being direct with him like he was. He then called back on a poor sounding cell phone and said that he changed his mind, would not fix the issue, and is not honoring a legal warranty, regardless of him sending the check back or not, he has ruined my outtake pipe, and is refusing to fix it. I said fine, will fix and pay myself, and send him to small claims court. I sincerely believe that the svc. rep. did not install the parts and wiring correctly as he thought I was personally mad with him; I was mad at the poor customer service and warranty person, and I told him so. I think that the owner changed his mind because he could not make me his friend, or that I did not want to like him. I told him, due to his directness, that I did not want to be his friend, wanted to tell him the whole story, and you really should apologize instead of making poor excuses. I don\\\\\\\'t want another friend, I want things done as promised, on time, installed correctly, and treated with dignity; these things were not done, and they are my rights as a consumer. repair and lawsuit on hold until BBB attempts a mediation. Please have them return my check as promised, and please have them repair the unit as promised. I also have two witnesses to the original service call, and they will be able to validate my claim; thank you for your time and mediation.
