This report was submitted by a teenager who tried to get a charge back in the middle of his items being shipped with the intent on getting his money and getting the merchandise...who is the scammer here?

Luckily we caught onto his plan and the items were not shipped. It made him mad and he went on here and posted those comments. Look at the unprofessional language used...obvious attempt from someone younger and unexperienced to get something bad about us on the internet.

As you all know, on the internet anything can be said, that doesn't mean it's true. It happens to thousands of companies every day. We have been part of the magic community for 30 years. We have hundreds of satisfied customers who will back us up on that statement.

Unfortunately when you are the company with the best prices, you tend to step on toes of other people who do not like you for this reason. This is something we have had to put up with from day one in the business and unfortunately it will probably never change. Certain people have it in their mind that if they go on different websites like this one and post negative things, it will hurt our business and help theirs.

We have just had to get us to all of the FAILED attempts of these people. They create such outrageous stories, without giving them any thought and don't realize that we will respond to them and show the truth. One good example is that we don't even have a shop to manufacture the products we are selling, so what did we do??? We put a video of the shop on our website:

http://www.snapillusions.com/Shop_Tour.html

They said we aren't shipping any products? Had to post a picture of one of our freight companies picking up a shipment on the front of the website: www.snapillusions.com

Anyone reading this would say probably say "you deal with a lot of childish, vindictive people..why do you do it". It is because I have a love for the art of magic and have since I was a child...there are many good supportive customers out there who encourage me that what I doing is a good thing by providing magicians with illusions at an affordable price. Most magicians wanting to have a full illusion show, would not be able to have them if they ordered them from the other companies who want to charge 10 times the amount ( which most people can't afford). I am not making a lot of profit having the prices so low, but I am providing those people the opportunity to have a full illusion show, and that feels good. It also feels good that these same people come back to me year and year to get new illusions for their show, and they spread the word to their friends and that creates many new customers for us.

There is one thing for certain..we have never just taken someone's money without delivering the product. That is an absolute lie.

The positive thing is that although people can go on these sites and try to create bad press for us, it does just the opposite, it attracts attention to us and our website, which in return, gets us new customers, who know how some people in the magic community can be. We are able to provide customer references in which they can personally contact so that they can see that the negative comments are totally false.

I really think that certain people out there are so frustrated that we are still in business, still delivering products, still getting new customers and still have so many repeat customers, that they have to stoop so low as to make up lies now on these types of websites, as a last ditch effort...sorry to inform those people, that we are not going anywhere, we will still conduct our business and still keep shipping those orders to our happy customers.

On websites like this one, a person is able to register and then post anything they want without proving it's true. Same with the forums and chat sites you can go on..anything can be said. Luckily for us, we have documentation from our many years in the business ( customer files, shipping receipts ) and satisfied customers from all over the world who will gladly stand behind our business and our products. Anyone with an ounce of common sense would be able to figure out that if what was being said where true we would not still be in business.

While I agree that the language use is childish, it is important to see the big picture. A huge discussion regarding Mr Moyer and snap Illusions can be found here:

and another report can be seen here:

At the very least, I would recommend extreme caution when dealing with Mr Moyer of Snap Illusions. He does seem like a very cool likable person, but a lot of people are complaining about paying a lot of money and not receiving anything in return.

Buyer beware when dealing with Snap Illusions.

Fact is, that I know of at least five magicians in Europe who paid between 2009 and 2011 several thousand US$ each and did not receive the ordered products. Although Mr. Moyer claims that all of these either received a return of the money or at least a partial shipment, all of these magicians claim that this is not true and they never received anything (except lame excuses about unfortunate delays).

In four cases I have to rely on the word of those magicians (and will get an affidavit when needed).
In my own case I definitely know that I never received anything.
So, if Mr. Moyer is including me when he says that all mentioned magicians got money back or partial shipment, then I can only say that in my case this is a lie.

All of the statements posted on here and other sites about snap illusions is true. I paid over $1, 000 and never recieved anything. Vicki told be that the illusions were completed in the middle of September. I paid the final amount over 3 weeks ago and was suppused to have recieved my illusions By Oct. 14, Never recieved them. Their bank won't do anything about it and sware they are good people. It's a shame the bank is letting this happen. We all need to fight to either get what we paid for or our money back.
