Small Business Success, Inc I was charged 3015.00 and lied to by the sales person Clearwater, Florida
16th of Oct, 2011 by User149103
I agreed to pay 3015.00 to this company Small Business Success. I got a cold call on my cell phone on Wednesday, September 14th it was Ronny Correa. He said he is affiliated with this company 3xP Web solutions who I have web hosting with and have a 1000 product store website. He said I need to advertise more he says the only ones who knew I had a website were him, 3xP and me. He said he was my senior account manager and he said he spoke with Michelle at Precision Corporate Services the company that set up my corporation. Ronny said I needed to call her and follow up about my business and she is expecting my call. Ronny said he has ties with the companies I work with, and hearing that gave me confidence. He knows all this information about me and the companies I am involved with. He convinced me I needed to sign up for the social marketing. We talked for a while about my website and he convinced me he really wanted me to succeed that this service will be very helpful. The fact that I have not made a dime on my website made it easier to agree and signed this contracts for $3015.00 which was taken from my 3 credit cards. $295.00 off the Capitol One, $500.00 off a Chase card and $222.00 off of a Pay-Pal MasterCard. I also was under the impression this company was going to really work for me and help me be successful, especially since Ronny seemed to know and care about what I was doing. My first phone appointment was September 19th Monday. I talked with a woman named Shannon; she said we are going to be covering Facebook for business, Twitter, Hoot Suite and my own blog. I remember I never had worked with a Michelle from Precision and I thought it odd she did not call me. I called Precision and Michelle had left a while ago, and I never had worked with her. I began to be suspicious. The last appointment with Shannon was Monday September 26th and a follow up call Tuesday September 27th I thought this is it. Shannon set up all these services up for me, Facebook for business, Twitter, Hoot Suite and created my blog and she showed me how to use it. I could have done all of this myself. I could not believe all I got in return was 2 hour long calls and a half hour call to learn twitter, face-book for businesses, and how to use my blog. This is it I could ask questions but that is all I got for $3015.00. I paid some one $ 1507.50 an hour to help me do things I could of done my self. I thought the company was going to work with me longer. I feel very ripped off. I tried to get my money back with the credit card company and me on the phone talking to this company and they said no they could give me more coaching; I already had my service the company said. If I had known about this I would never have agreed to any of this. Ronny lied to me about a Michelle working at Precision and convinced me I needed all this marketing and it was lies about him being affiliated with Precision Corporate services. I have not made a dime with 3xP web Solutions and it cost me $1000.00 out Pay-Pal Master Card. I thrown money away on this social marketing that I thought was a better deal. I was so convinced to purchase it by someone who lied to me to gain my trust. The information was very basic and I could have learned myself. Can you help me get my money back? I thought this service with Small Business Success, was more involved then just 3 phone calls for $3015. 00. Can You help me get my money back?

Small Business Success and Ronny Correa are a SCAM.

We represent another company like 3XP and they called a client of ours saying that we told him to call them to help them with their account and get them on these services. We have NO idea where they got the number of the client from nor does the client but it does not come from us. I called up Ronny at first not saying which company I was with but just gave the client name.

He used our company name saying we told them to get in touch with this client (he still did not know I work at the company he said started the referral). He told me that they were told by our firm that the client needed help and kept pushing for a sale. He said he has worked directly with many of our employees and started naming names saying I could contact them if needed but he normally only works with our higher ups.

After getting annoyed with the amount of lies he was saying I let him know that our company has NEVER shared any client information with anyone. We NEVER send clients to other companies for help. Also, not a single one of the names that he gave of employees that he works with have ever worked for our company...not now...and not ever. There is ZERO true to what he said on the call.

My guess is they get some list or look up domain names, etc. They find out a company you work with and then lie saying they got your information from XYZ company to build trust and steel your money more easily. However, I doubt they have any companies even 3XP, sending them people. They are a total scam. You should alert 3XP to what took place and have them contact this scam directly and hopefully shut them down for good.
