Two years ago we received a pamphlet and video from Sleep Comfort Beds. You can view the video we received at . This completely explains the warranty. After we purchased the bed for almost $4,000, they brought it out. I asked about the lifetime warranty. They concurred it was true. After they deposited our money (before they even delivered the bed), they brought us a packet (after the contract was signed). It makes no sense. After 4 months, the bed made so much noise we couldn't even use the adjustable part. They came out, basically did nothing and said it was the vibration and it would stop. We phoned and told them it hadn't. They blamed it on our flooring (which is carpet). It continued and finally my side of the king size portion will raise, very noisely, but it will not let down. Basically we can't use it. We called again to be directed to Leggett & Platt which we had never heard of only to be told the bed only had a 1 year warranty. They would send us a motor and we could put it in ourselves to see if that was the problem. In the book is has a warning that if we touch anything but the hand controls ourselves, the warrant is void. It has to be done by a certified tech, which they won't send out. The last page in the book we were given after delivery and contracts were signed can be found at . This booklet was included in the packet he handed us as he walked out the door. As you can see it is in direct contrast to the video and the pamphlets we received. Both of which state "Sleep Comfort" is the only one with a Lifetime Warranty". The other pamphlet adds that when bought through sleep comfort it has a 100% unlimited lifetime warranty. Please help us. We cannot afford to throw away $4,000 and they have us over a barrel where they won't send anyone and if we touch it, the warranty will be void. This sounds like fraudulent advertising.
