| I ordered sterling silver jewelry from Skystone and Silver (sterling silver chain, ss monkey pendant, ss silver earrings) on August 8, 2011. A week passed and no jewelry delivered. Two weeks , then three weeks more of waiting. Rick Sindeband was not returning any of my calls and he was not replying to all my e-mails. I decided to research him. I found reports of people he has victimized in the past. I really should have researched him before I placed my order. After finding out what he has done to other people, I immediately contested the charge on my credit card ($145.00). I filed a report with the BBB (which....means nothing, I guess, now that I have read that they pretty much do not do anything really). I am not sure if the BBB report or the credit card contested charge that did it, but Rick Sindeband all of a sudden resurrected! He called me the very next day and fed me more lies, and he also e-mailed me, feeding me more lies. He said the jewelry was ready, but that I had to settle this problem with the contested credit card charge. I told him he was a scam artist and that if he did not refund my money, he better have money for a lawyer because I was ready to take it that far. And I was going to make sure he will end up paying for my lawyer as well. I told him in no uncertain terms that I was going to do all I could to put him out of business. This scam artist chose the wrong victim this time! Within a few hours, I received an email from Paypal informing me that Rick Sindeband has refunded my $145.00. He e-mailed me one more time and managed to threw in another lie, that he sold the earrings that I had custom -made to a neighbor "and she loved it"....My husband said to stop communicating with him now since I got my money back, but I just could not resist sending him another e-mail: "Your pants are on fire, Rick Sindeband!" (Liar...liar....pants on fire)! |

| this lady is not telling the whole story. The invoice she got said 10 business days for receipt . Her invoice date is the 6th. 10 business days is the 18th we didn't finish the earrings until that weekend. I was gone for a couple days to an event and come back to an email that says cancel my order. This lady is psycho, she received a refund the day it was requested...even though my policy on custom work is no refund.These earrings were designed for her. We had not sold them to anyone prior. She would not discuss it she just wanted to rant. My guess is she thought she would get them for free..Sorry not gonna happen. In this economy shame on you for trying to do this for someone who is trying to work for a living. |
