Skybeam
Skybeam Aircanopy Service is worse than dial up. Employess and phone support blatently lie to customers. Refuse to solve major issues. Omaha , Nebrask

Living in Briar TX, I've dealt with some of the worst internet providers to ever have plague the earth. Sky beam is the only one that I have actually felt obligated to report. It started when our previous internet provider was bought by Skybeam. Before the buyout we had an acceptable backwoods internet service. The price was atrocious and it was 15 times slower than the national average. But the latency was acceptable and the service steady. Then Skybeam shows up. They buy out our provider. They change the equipment. They fire the previous staff. All without warning or explanation. As soon as the equipment was switched, our connection went to hell. Packet loss is now constant and ranges from 20-90%(no more online gaming, voip, streaming videos). Latency skyrocketed to 3000ms with constant jitter. The speed went down to .4 megabits(8% of advertised package). We tried to call support. After waiting hours on hold we left a message. Got a call back from phone support who promptly lies and shifts blame. Support tells us that the network is fine and the problem is local. After much arguing technician is sent and takes 2 hours to determine that our equipment is fine and there's nothing he can do. Service gets worse and many calls are made. Over the course of 3 months 5 more technicians get sent out. All of which make up excuses or just downright lie in order leave. 3 months go by and service gets even worse. Here I am now writing this report. Download speed is .3 megabits. Latency hovers in the thousands with 50-90% packet loss. Most web pages fail to load. Service drops regularly every day. Technical support continues to insist problems are localized and not reflective of the network. Checking Skybeam reviews proves otherwise. Technicians can't find any problems with equipment. A few technicians told the truth. Skybeam's towers are overloaded and their equipment is outdated. Yet after three months they have not began to replace equipment or improve connection. Instead Skybeam sends out more fliers advertising in our area further clogging overwhelmed network. Skybeam is the very definition of a ripoff "A product or service that is overpriced or of poor quality - thefreedictionary.com/scam ". Skybeam is the definition of fraud " A deception, trickery, or cheating intended to gain advantage - thefreedictionary.com/fraud ". Skybeam Is the single worst company I have ever deal with. Stay away, and avoid all dealings with these people. You have been warned.
