To all those even considering using Simple Mobile wireless services, i'd advice you to think before you act. they promise services to lure you in and once they get your money, well, let's just say you can just forget about getting your money back. i did my research on the companies wireless coverage in my area, and was assured that i would not have any problems. i activated my phone only to find out that i had no service what so ever. in less than ten minutes after i activated my phone, i called for a refund. that's where the trouble began. the rep told me a couple of things to do with my phone to so call "reset" it, and that was supposed to take care of the problem, but to no avail. i asked for a supervisor and she beat around the bush with reasons why i could not get the money i paid, fifty dollars,in no uncertain terms it was unrefundable! i asked that my request for a refund be forwarded to the corporate office. i was given the corporate number and a refund request number. this fight went on for about a week, so in order to spare you the long story, i'll give you a condensed version.i spoke to numerous people at the call center, because the number to the corporate office only lead me back to the call center. there was a feature where i could leave a message for someone from the corporate office to call me, but you probably won't be surprised to hear that nobody ever called me back. once i was promised my money back by a supervisor named Alston #5226, but he never came back to the phone and avoided my calls for two days.when i did finally talk to him he denied ever telling that and went back on his word. every time i called to speak to someone about a refund i got every excuse in the book, but it always ended up the same. i couldn't get my money back. i was even told there was something wrong with the towers in my area which i couldn't understand why i had to pay for that if it wasn't my fault that their equipment wasn't working correctly. they blamed the problem on my phone, the sim card, they even went so far as to say that it just my house that didn't have coverage. they have been trained to tell you anything just to keep your money, and as far as i'm concerned they are scam artists. i told them i have two children and am on life substaining meds and need a cell phone which after dealing with them i had been without for almost a week. nobody cared either way. lastly i put a complaint about them with the BBB. |

I have the most distasteful experience with simple mobile. They change my number without my consent, and I lost business because of that. they claim that they don't have the capacity to find out about who chnaged it or give it back to me. As far as security, you will enter a t your risk, it is a prepaid service take it or leave it. taht is what a service rep " Jessie 5624 told me. never again. I will write about them tothe max, and I will campaign against that too as I have proof. |
