Silver Best Buy Jewelry silverbestbuy.com Fraud; No Refund Internet, Nationwide
17th of May, 2011 by User706926
On or about October 21, 2010 I purchased a David Yurman inspired pendant from Silver Best Buy Jewelry at silverbestbuy.com. I received the pendant and it was not as pictured on the nice website the merchant displays. I paid approximately $94.19 plus shipping for the pendant. I immediately e-mailed a representative of silverbestbuy.com and informed them that I would be returning the pendant for a refund. I was told that I could do this. On November 1, 2010 I shipped the item back to Silver Best Buy Jewelry through the United States Postal Service (USPS). A week later I spoke with a representative of USPS by telephone and I was informed that the USPS obtained a signature of delivery. When I did not receive a refund from Silver Best Buy Jewelry I e-mailed them about my refund and to advise them that I was informed by the USPS that they received the package. I did not receive a response to my e-mail or a refund. Subsequently, I e-mailed Silver Best Buy Jewelry three to four more times with no response. Basically, this website is a scam, they do not adhere to any of their policies and their jewelry is cheap to say the least! Before you fall in to the trap of their pretty website and nice pictures please note that this is all a sham and you will not receive what you see in the photographs or what you pay for and you will not receive any refund and/or credit if you wish to return the item. Basically, you spend your time and money and come out with zero!

I ordered two rings from Silver Best Buy in April 2011 with free 2 days Fed Ex shipping because I spent $256. I never received the rings. After 10 days, I sent them an email asking for my merchandise. I never got a reply. So a few days later, I sent another email and this time, I put more information into the email. I did get a reply to that email and was told that they only had 1 ring and had tried to contact me but I wasn't responding. I knew right away that was bogus because I check my spam folder several times a day and I also have caller ID on my cell phone. They had not tried to contact me.
Since they didn't have the two sizes of rings I wanted, they said they would refund my money within 7 days maximum. Yes, they used that phrase - '7 days maximum'. Ten business days later, still no refund to my PayPal account, so I sent another email. I was told since I hadn't replied to the last email, they weren't sure if I wanted them to send just the single ring and chose another product or get a full refund.
I called them out on that too and referred them back to my previous email where I typed that I didn't want any product and to send me a full refund. I also pointed out to them that they said I would get the refund in '7 days maximum'.
This last correspondence took place on May 26, 2011. I still have no refund.
Keep in mind they have been playing games with me since April and this is now June. I have no product and I have no $256. Scam, scam, scam!

I was the one who contacted with Ms. Stacey and asked her if she wanted the 2 rings or 1 ring, then she told me she
wanted the 2 rings if not a refund, but she also wanted to know what was the size of the ring had in stock, so logically i thought she might still want the 1 ring...

i emailed her every single week but never got a reply after a week or two.

I emailed her and asked her, but no reply after nearly 2 weeks and asked for a refund, i asked her again if she wanted refund for both or 1 ring, so we could send her the ring we had. (both rings she ordered was exactly the same ring and same size and we had only 1 left)

She again emailed us after a week or 2 and asked for a refund, and we refunded her in full.

We again apology for any delay or inconvenience we may have caused with your order, but again if you would have answered our emails on time you wouldn't have had to wait or be suspicious.

If we were a scam or fraud we wouldnt have answered any of your emails nor refunded your payment in full.

You are still more than welcome to visit us and we would be glad to serve you and also give you 84% off on any jewelry you would like to buy.
